Commissioned on July 27th, 2013, Al Falaah FM as an Islamic Radio station is part of the Gambia Supreme Islamic Council´s renewed commitment to the propagation of the authentic teachings of the Beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ through mass media. The aim of the station is to enhance the dissemination of the moral values of Islam and enable trusted Islamic Scholars teach Islam as it was revealed to Prophet ﷺ.

Today, Tuesday, is the 29th of Dhul Qi'dah, 1446 AH; thus, the Committee solicits everyone to observe the sighting of the crescent/moon of the month of Dhul-Hijjah on the today's evening, 27th-05-2025, and to relay the information to the representatives (of GSIC Fatwa Committee) via the numbers below, while urging all to ensure the utmost accuracy before relaying information.
