Momodou, a humble and hardworking young man from Jarra Dongoroba, has successfully graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Technical Education (Medical Engineering) from the Islamic University of Technology (IUT) in Bangladesh.

In a touching moment, he dedicated his degree to his late mother, praying that her gentle soul rests in peace.

According to his former landlord, Baaba Polo Boy Kanyi, Momodou is “a very hardworking, loving, and honest young man.” His success is a proud moment for Dongoroba and an inspiration to many young Gambians.

Boghal Youth Take Action for a Cleaner and Better School! 💪📚

Yesterday, the youth of Boghal showed true community spirit as they joined forces to clean and beautify Boghal High School. The activity was organized by the Communal JPS of Boghal in collaboration with the Association of Students and Pupils from the Commune of Boghal (AEERCB) — a strong demonstration of unity and patriotism.

After the cleaning, the team held a meeting with school officials to discuss key challenges such as the lack of an administrative block, teachers’ lounge, and library, as well as shortages of teachers in English, Arabic, and Portuguese.

The JPS Communale and AEERCB have pledged to continue working with the school administration to improve learning conditions and make Boghal High School one of the best in the Bounkiling department.
