And yes!!! Congratulations to the Gambian electorate for the humiliating defeat you meted out to the most corrupt and most divisive president ever elected in this country.

This speech is acceptance of the fact that he has been rejected by the overwhelming majority of voters in the just concluded parliamentary polls.

The only lesson that bullies learn is to stand up to them and call their bluff. It works!

After using state resources to bribe and coerce the electorate and the inept and comprised IEC, Barrow and his kleptocratic government received the ire of the voters.

Now he is calling on the National Assembly to work with his executive as team.

This should never happen because the refereee cannot join the players for any reason.

The National Assembly is the referee and the checking mechanism in this game and therefore they must never be sweet talked our bribed into going to bed with this corrupt and inept administration that has mortgaged our sovereignty, weakened our national security, aided and abetted drug and gun trafficking, deported our youths and divided the nation for political gain.

Barrow and his mafia cabal are at their weakest and that is why he came out to give an enticing conciliatory speech to appease his adversaries.

We must never fall for this bait. Let us March to the National Assembly, gloves off to finish the job and cleanse our country by completely wiping out : the worsening of the ills of our society like inflation, corruption, deportation, drug trafficking, high crime rates and insecurity.
