I signed a contract with my manager, Jamel Shot It, at 16, eager to launch my music career. The contract turned out to be fake. After a year and a half, I realized my music videos were uploaded to his YouTube, not mine, and I wasn’t getting any revenue, despite viral hits. When I demanded my share, Jamel ignored me.

After ending the contract, he removed all my videos from his channel, just before an award nomination in Senegal. The case is now with the police. I’m starting over with a new YouTube channel and asking fans to subscribe.

I was awarded in Absentia for ‘Excellence in Urban Development and Democratic Governance’ by the Tourism Fair & Economic Summit hosted by the African And Caribbean Commission in the USA.

My award was recieved by Mr Haji Dukuray on my behalf.

The event which was hosted at the prestigious Hotel Dupont in Wilmington, DE, gathered industry leaders, innovators, investors, and professionals from around the world. Featuring several African and Caribbean heads of state, the summit promises insightful discussions and unparalleled networking opportunities.

Thanks to the Delaware Africa Coalition especially Dr Kelechi Lawrence for their contributions to the event and apologies for not being able to make it in person.
