🇬🇮 Radio Gibraltar was represented at the International Radiodays Europe 2025 conference this week, by presenters Ben Lynch, Lucinda Snape and guest speaker GBC CEO James Neish (centre). There were over 1,500 delegates from 65 countries at the event in Athens, across 3 days! 🇬🇷
James delivered a great session about the importance of local radio, with some powerful recent examples such as our coverage of the McGrail enquiry, the development of our newest podcast offerings, and multiple highlights of the Gibraltar Today show on location for stories simulcast on Radio, GBC TV and online. He credited the work of presenters with a local focus and connection with listeners.
It was a great experience full of information-sharing and ideas from other broadcast professionals about the challenges of broadcasting in today's digital/AI era. The team is looking forward to getting back to the Rock to share all their experiences from Radiodays Europe ✈️
