Our Story

The Franwill Music Kingdom had a series of advocacy workshops for the music industry. Workshops were also held to sensitize shareholders in the music sector on loopholes in the legal aspects of the business. CAPACITY BUILDING Ongoing sessions are organized by the FranWill Music Kingdom to strengthen capacity through management training for musicians and music professionals on selected topics intended to broaden their horizon for the effective implementation and monitoring of their projects. INCOME GENERATION To increase income opportunities for the Creative Industry, PRESERVATION, DEVELOPMENT & PROMOTION OF MUSIC One of the primary foci of the FranWill Music Kingdom is the preservation, development and promotion of music in its many diverse forms with special emphasis on music that is being threatened by extinction. As such, the Institute has been working in Schools to preserve and create a data base for music in schools. PROJECTS Documentation and Preservation Objective The Franwill Music Kingdom has added to its collection, A music produced by the Label.(My God Is) ABOUT US The FranWill Music Kingdom (FMK) contributes to the evolution of a professional and vibrant music industry in Ghana and continues to play a pivotal role in the development of a self-sustaining music industry network in Africa through advocacy, documentation of traditional and contemporary music styles and their dissemination through the electronic media as well as production of Audio visual material, human resource and institutional capacity building and creation of network opportunities. Our scope encompasses advocacy and the development of the music industry within the context of an African Music Network. As educators, our interest in youth and children development, projects and programs is paramount in and integral to our work. Therefore we welcome educators, students, researchers, and music professionals to this site. A singer, composer, multi-instrumentalist and teacher with a magnetic personality who has enchanted people with his high energy music, powerful messages, showmanship and colourful costumes, Kwame is expected to mesmerize the audience with an ever innovating style that has endeared him to the hearts of fans. With a scrumptious amalgam of afrobeats, reggae, jazz, percussion and traditional vocals, Kwame together with his Spirit 10 Band will perform at the Accra Technical University, which seeks to encourage young Ghanaian musicians and talents to employ the use of indigenous musical resources to create a new sound that can catapult Ghana back onto the world music scene. Employing the use of traditional African instruments, talking drums, among others which he dramatically blends with modern grooves and technology to create a fusion of hot rhythms, Kwame ends up sending his audience on a complicated but smooth journey that encompass several cultures and music traditions. Kwame has been involved with teaching in schools in Accra, where he is currently based over the last 4 year.
