For Good Friday my brother or sister, let us reflect on the suffering of our Lord Jesus Christ and the sacrifice he made for our sins. On this day we remember when Jesus was betrayed by Judas, arrested by the guards, stood trial before Pilate and was brutally whipped and beaten. He carried his own heavy cross through the streets of Jerusalem up to Calvary where he was crucified between two thieves. Through his death on the cross, Jesus paid the price for our sins so that we may be forgiven and have eternal life.

John 19:18 - "There they crucified him, and with him two others, one on either side, and Jesus between them."

Isaiah 53:5 - "But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed."

Romans 5:8 - "But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us."

May Good Friday be a solemn day of remembrance for you. Take time to pray, read scripture and be grateful for the ultimate sacrifice Jesus made on the cross for our salvation. He loves us so much that he gave his life to save us from our sins. Praise God for his son, our Lord and savior. God bless you.

If we could just get people to walk in
love and know what belongs to them because
