G/R: FIRE OUTBREAK AT TESHIE ABOTSIANYA

Yesterday at early Tuesday morning around 6:30am, there was a fire outbreak at Teshie Abotsianya located on the Accra-Tema Beach Road.

According to reports from eye witnesses at this catchment area, a young guy who normally set up fire into trashes littered around after the Spot known as AKROWA SPOT closed up, set up fire into the trashes as he normally does behind the spot.

Unfortunately, they didn't know how this fire set ablaze into the trashes cause this fire outbreak into the Spot but others also said it may be the direction of the wind that cause this fire outbreak.

This have led to total destruction of other Shops, Stores and buildings besides this Spot. This fire outbreak had cause the owner of the Spot fell into uunconsciousness but there were no victims and no one founded dead.

NEW APPOINTED GONGON BE**ER FOR TESHIE TRADITIONAL AREA

Teshie Agbawe Quarter, one among the five quarters of Teshie on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 finally appointed new Gongon Be**er Known as Nii Mensah Ablorh (a.k.a Akali).

Nii Mensah Ablorh (a.k.a Akali) is the predecessor of his late father who was known in private life as Nii Ablorh Obegbee (a.k.a. Ghana Gin). He beat the Gongon for some years.

After some short illness, he passed on about two(2) years ago. His son Akali have been appointed as the Gongon Be**er to occupy the vacant position because tradition still goes on.

The Teshie Agbawe Council of Elders further stated that each and everyone should acknowledge him and continue to do business with him.

She therefore plead to all stake holders, the M.C.E for Ledzokuku Municipal Assembly, revered Chiefs from Teshie and GaDangbe as whole,etc to come to her aid with their support and sponsorships to make this Foundation and the Clean Up Exercise a successful one.

Gang leader arrested by the Police at Teshie during investigation in recent shooting incidents occured in Teshie.

According to the arrested Gang leader known as Ash*tey La said he was given the gun to perform the shooting incidents which recently occured in Teshie by Nii Ashikwei Kwaobotswe II and Gbetsoolor Nii Ash*tey Akomfrah III.

He also stated that, Hon. Henry Quartey (Greater Accra Regional Minister) grants them bail whenever they're been arrested by the police against any criminal act with their involvement.

The Police is therefore urged to deal with this matter independently and also to continue with their investigation for the names of those behind this criminal act mentioned by Ash*tey La (Gang leader) and others believed are also involve to be arrested immediately.

The arrested Gang leader is in the police custody at the Kpeeshie Divisional Police Head Quarters, Nungua.

Two male Asafoiatsemei with Stool names Asafoiatse Gɔŋti I, Asafoiatse Kãŋkã I and One female Asafoianye also with Stool name Asafoianye Ashiblɛŋtɛ I was Outdoored on Sunday, January 7, 2024 at Naa Oshekenye We Family House located in the Klemusun Quarter of Teshie.

All three of this newly installed Captains hail from Gbugbla Quarter located in Teshie and Naa Oshekenye We Family House is the appropriate place for such rites and customes to be performed according to the culture and traditions of Teshie.

These rite is being performed by the Shippi for the Teshie Traditional Area and his cabinets. According to the history of Teshie, anyone enstooled as Captain (Asafoiatse/Asafoianye) who doesn't pass through the rite performed at Naa Oshekenye We Family House by the Shippi and his cabinets is a self styled or fraudulent Captain and unknown by the Traditional Body of Teshie.

Sing-A-Thon: The Current GWR Holder Sunil Waghmare For The Longest Singing Marathon Visits Ghana To Support And Congratulate Afua Asantewaa Aduonum

Crowds have gathered at Akwaaba Village in Accra since December 24, 2023 to witness her attempt at breaking the Guinness World Record(GWR).

Tears of Joy flows when Indian Singer, Sunil Waghmare, the current GWR holder for the longest singing marathon flew down to Ghana to support and congratulate Afua Asantewaa Aduonum for unofficially breaking his record.

He's been holding the record for the past Eleven(11) years since he broke it in March 2012 having sang for 105 hours until Afua Asantewaa Aduonum's feat.

Many Ghanaians are delighted that the outside world is really watching us and it's all thanks to the relentless Afua Asantewaa Aduonum.

Afua Asantewaa Aduonum officially brought her Sing-A-Thon challenge to an end at the 126 hrs and 52 mins mark awaiting official validation and confirmation from Guinness World Record(GWR).
