This one is for the coastal communities in Ghana, West Africa.

Have you noticed an increase in erosion on your beaches? There have been some efforts made to build sea defenses, but only in limited areas along the coast.
This should be a PRIORITY, not an afterthought or election promise that never materializes.
The coastline of Ghana is the very essence of our ancestors, and our connection to Mother Nature and all of her benefits.
Ghana's coastline is the Gateway to Africa, so why wouldn't there be an urgency to restore and preserve it?

Why is little effort given by the government to support and fund viable solutions for the many infrastructural dysfunctions we the people of Ghana are perpetually plagued with?

We could say the same about the roads, schools, hospitals, social services, teen pregnancy, HIV/AIDS, Domestic Violence, Alcohol/Drug Addiction, Mental Health, Homelessness.....
Yes, that's a lot to unpack, yet the people are forced to deal with these traumas on a daily, with no direction nor assistance in resolving any of these problems.....yet the leaders live and eat good like Westerners while their constituents are tormented by third-world poverty.

When are the Ghanaian leaders going to start valuing our precious MOTHERLAND, and stop pimping her, selling her out to the highest bidder for mere pesewas?
It's time to WAKE UP PEOPLE!!!
These are the questions you should be asking as you consider voting in the 2024 Election.....

Information reaching us from EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) is that the current change in weather / atmosphere across the country is not harmattan, but rather an extreme form of air pollution with dire consequences on human health

This can be hazardous and lead to :

1. Reduced Lung function
2. Respiratory infection
3. Inflammation

MTN Ghana
We have a major problem....

There are NO MTN Turbo Net Routers/SIMS available in all of Ghana??
We have tried for THREE YEARS to obtain one for our WI-FI Data Network needs and are continually advised, "They will be in stock soon".

That day never arrives, yet there are "agents" online who have HIJACKED all of the devices selling them on black market for HUGE MONEY.

This type of corruption is one of the main reasons for lack of development and employment. Online opportunities are one of the best options for Ghanaians to earn OUTSIDE money in spite of the economy here.

These VULTURES are capitalizing on a truly basic necessity in this new modern world.
The people suffer because of this wanton greed and disregard for customer service in an industry that REQUIRES customer satisfaction and quality of services to thrive in any worthwhile business arena.

There is NO FIBER/Broadband offered in our area and we make routine calls in to Technical Support regarding increasing the area towers to at least 4G ....👀

Even the regular phone service is not as reliable as it should be based on the increase in profits MTN is generating from their MANY Faithful Customers in these disenfranchised areas who patronize their CORPORATION.

Yes, this should not be operated as some yawa yawa with no major concern for backlash from the public at large.
MTN is a CORPORATE ENTITY that should ensure some INTEGRITY in their INTERNATIONAL Business Practices.

They are now charging 3000 GHC for these devices....Take a look at how much they should be and where they SHOULD be available.

We want development and advancement on the Continent but I see that some don't want to put in the work it takes to climb out of the hole and rebuild from scratch.
It's time for the People to start Standing up and Speaking OUT About EVERYTHING NOT RIGHT.

Or this cycle will continue...another generational curse. Accepting anything and keeping quiet.....🤔

Getting rid of toxic folks must be the message for the day.....

I tried to put as many on the boat as possible, but like TP said some are on board to try to poke holes and sink the ship.
They want to be captain but don't know how to steer the boat nor swim.🤔

I try not to dig up anything edible or medicinal, so I Google plants I'm not familiar with.

And Lo and Behold, it is the answer to my silent prayers!🥰

It is commonly used in traditional medicine in Africa, South America and Hawaii, mainly against pain, inflammation, conditions of inflammation, diarrhea, dysentery, conjunctivitis, wounds, abscess, epilepsy, convulsions, anemia, erectile dysfunctions, bladder ailments and ASTHMA.

Waltheria indica possess therapeutic potential in the treatment of inflammation, MALARIA, infectious diseases (e.g., lungs infection due to Klebsiella Pneumoniae, diarrhea due to Candida albicans or Escherichia coli) and prevention of oxidative stress.

This is almost a DAILY occurrence....due to the road conditions in our area.
Ahanta West Roads are horrendous and no one seems to care about it.

The residents in these communities DESERVE DECENT roads. One is an actual INTERNATIONAL COASTAL ROAD that has been severely neglected by everyone in position to affect a positive change in the Ahanta West Region.
Beautiful Busua Beach attracts the most Tourism but its main road hasn't been maintained in DECADES.

Most of these other roads listed have NEVER BEEN FULLY CONSTRUCTED AT ALL....🤔👀

Black History 365/24/7🤎

Said to be one of the oldest photographs taken in Barbados of a Bajan, this image captures Nancy Daniels. The picture is believed to have been taken in the 1850s, either at a studio in Bridgetown by the photographer Campion or at the house where she worked as a domestic servant.

Nancy was born either in 1751 or 1755 in West Africa, believed to be modern day Nigeria as it was thought she was of Igbo ethnicity. Her real name is unknown and it is believed she came to Barbados in her teens or as a young woman.

Even though Nancy would have grown up in West Africa, survived the Middle Passage and being sold into slavery, the devastating Bridgetown Fire of 1766, the destructive hurricane of 1780, the Bussa revolt of 1816 as well as Emancipation and Apprenticeship, little is known of her life.

She is known to have lived in Bridgetown at Synagogue Lane and worked for the Daniels family as a domestic servant, for whom she worked for many years, first as an enslaved women and later as a domestic servant after Emancipation.

At her death her age is officially recorded as 116 years, dying and buried on September 24th, 1871, but oral sources from the family put her age at 120 years old. She is one of the oldest people to have lived in Barbados, achieving super centenarian status.
