Krobo Youth Connect

The Nana Nartekie foundation and Achievers Network in the collaboration with Zimmermann Presby YPG organized Krobo connect programme came off at the Zimmermann Presbyterian Church, Odumase-Krobo on the evening of Monday 4 March 2024. The theme was "Self Love in. Relationship".

Madam Berlinda Gbli the guest speaker for the night spoke on the theme. She asked the youth to love themselves and take good care of their and concentrate on their needs. She continued that their self worth does not depend on material things - wigs and plastic surgery. She also advised the adults and aged to take time off their busy schedules and have some treats. The self should come first when you are in a relationship she said.

The floor was opened for the congregation to ask questions and also contribute to the discussion. Issues that were raised were the youths susceptible to online and social media trends - vices has become the norm of the day that the youth follows like ants following Sugar.

The congregation thanked the guest speaker organisers and called for more of such programmes.
