Today a Batik Air Airbus A320-200 made an emergency landing at Sultan Thaha Jambi Airport, Indonesia, after the nose landing gear (NLG) rotated 90 degrees sideways.

According to the AvHerald, the 4 year old aircraft, with registration PK-LUT and performing flight ID-6803 from Jambi to Jakarta (Indonesia), was in its initial climb out of runway 31 when the crew stopped the climb at 3000 feet due to problems with the nose gear.

The latest craze and jam in town now is Stonebwoy’s latest tongues music, ‘Putuu’ which has got everyone speaking in ‘tongues’ anytime they try to sing along.

📌📰 : I fired the gunshots myself - Hawa Koomson admits shooting at a registration centre.

Mavis Hawa Koomson, the MP for the Awutu Senya East, says she fired a gun at a voters registration centre in her constituency.

“None of my men had guns on then when we got to the centre. I fired the shots myself,” the MP, who is also Special Development Initiatives Minister, told Adom FM.

She added that the gunshot was a way of protecting herself at the registration centre since her police es**rt had not started working that day.

The MP indicated she went to the place because she heard her opponent had bussed people from other places to the registration centre.

“I’m a Member of Parliament, I need to protect myself. It was at dawn, my police es**rt had not started work yet. So that is a mechanism I have adopted in his absence,” she said.

On Monday the Kasoa Peace Town Top Hill Down polling station was closed down by the officials of the Electoral Commission after gun-wielding men stormed the premises.

Some armed men of the MP numbering about 15 arrived at the registration centre around 8 am and tried to sack some prospective voters.

The NDC Parliamentary Candidate Naa Koryoo Okunor then accused the sitting MP of being the mastermind.

Meanwhile, the police say four persons have been arrested in connection with the incident

Legendary comic actor Akrobeto, has hilariously confronted his junior comic actors, Lil Win and Funny Face for their fight on TV and has dared the ‘Kasoa VanDame’ to come face him if he thinks he is strong.
Few days ago, Lil Win and Funny Face made a display on TV when they clashed on UTV’s United Showbiz hosted by Nana Ama McBrown.

Reacting to this unfortunate incident, Akrobeto stated that though the two have finally smoked the peace pipe, what they did was a disgrace.

He further went ahead to quiz if he Lil Win could be beat Funny Face, and turned to also ask if he Funny Face also thinks beating Lil Win is a good thing and dared him to come face if he thinks he is indeed the ‘Kasoa VanDame’.

Akrobeto said this on his show, the ‘Real News’ which airs on UTV, Friday evenings. He also used the opportunity to ask the two to continue leaving in peace because they are from the same fraternity.
