😇Hey,
There will always be the need for some selling. But marketing aims to make selling superfluous.
For all the people who are still in dilemma whether their product or services are marketable or not, I have come up with this basic information for you guys.💯
So, what is Marketed?
📌Goods: Physical goods constitute the bulk of most production and marketing efforts. Examples are Automobiles, Devices, Jewellery, Wearables, Cosmetics, etc. And the list goes on.
📌Services: Services includes work of hotels, airlines, rentals, beauticians, barbers, bankers, lawyers, engineers, doctors, consultants, coaches etc.
📌Events: Marketers promote time-based events. For example, major trade shows, artistic performances and sports events are good examples of event marketing.
📌Experiences: Experiences like theme-based parks, amusement parks, etc. Customers enjoy the thrill provided by these experiences.
📌Person: Artists, Musicians, Doctors, Physicians, Lawyers, Financiers, etc. Businesses use celebrities to promote their products and services. These celebrities are brand in themselves.
📌Places: Countries, states and cities compete to attract tourists, residents, factories and company headquarters. The tourism industry is a good example of place marketing.
📌Properties: Properties are intangible rights of ownership to either real properties ( real estate) or financial properties ( stocks and bonds).
📌Organizations: Organizations work to build a strong and unique brand image in the minds of their audiences. Organizations with a social initiative in domains such as healthcare, education, corporate-social, etc.
📌Information: Information is essentially what books, schools and universities produce, market and distribute at a price to parents, students and communities.
📌Ideas: Every market offering includes a basic idea. Marketing has an important role in influencing attitudes and behaviour, such as creating awareness campaigns about Cancer/AIDS, discouraging smoking and alcohol, promoting blood donation, etc.
