Black Sherif has achieved a remarkable milestone by securing his inaugural BET award in the "Best International Flow" category at the recently concluded 2023 Hip Hop Awards. This achievement is particularly significant as Black Sherif, a two-time nominee in this category, triumphed over nine other accomplished rappers, including notable talents such as Aka and K.O from South Africa, and Sampa The Great from Zimbabwe. The diverse pool of nominees also featured Gazo (France), Central Cee (UK), J Hus (UK), Major Rd (Brazil), Ninho (France), and Tasha & Tracie (Brazil).
Last year, Black Sherif earned his first nomination in the 'Best International Flow' category but narrowly missed out on the award, which was claimed by Benjamin Epps. This year, he returned as a nominee in the same category, alongside formidable contenders including Benjamin Epps (France), Central Cee (UK), Blxckie (South Africa), Haviah Mighty (Canada), Knucks (UK), Le Juiice (France), Nadia Nakai (Zimbabwe), and Tasha & Tracie (Brazil) at the esteemed awards ceremony.
The 2023 BET Hip Hop Awards ceremony, recorded in Atlanta on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, is set to be broadcast live on October 10th, showcasing Black Sherif's outstanding achievement on the international stage.
