Yesterday was one amazing day as our proprietor, Nana Amissah Mensah-Dadziebo , adorned his ravishing traditional wear and got carried in his green-lit palanquin during the 2024 Bakatue Festival.

Today we celebrate excellence and we recognize one of our own.

Anthea Yolanda is member of Hollywood Class of 2001.

Yolanda is truly an inspiration, having achieved incredible accomplishments in both her professional and military career. As a dedicated Flight Attendant for American Airlines, the largest airline in the world, she has been soaring high in the skies for two incredible years. Now, Yolanda is embarking on an exciting new chapter by transitioning to become a pilot.

Not only has Yolanda demonstrated her exceptional skills in the aviation industry, but she also serves her country proudly as an Airman First Class in the United States Air Force. During her Basic Military Training, Yolanda showcased her expertise as a Flight Guide and earned the esteemed title of Black Rope in Tech School.

With her unwavering dedication and sharp focus, Yolanda consistently excelled in her studies, achieving an impressive 94% average. This impressive accomplishment speaks volumes about her commitment to excellence and her ability to overcome any challenge that comes her way but most importantly this speaks to the foundation of excellence she got during her formative years in Hollywood School.

Yolanda, your achievements are undeniably remarkable, and we are so proud to call you our own . Your determination and passion serve as an inspiration to all especially current students and pupils of Hollywood School - Elmina .
