Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara has vowed to go after any traditional ruler that supports cultism.

This follows the recent killing of a Divisional Police Officer, Bako Amgbashim, by cultists in Ahoada-East Local Government Area of the state.

Governor Fubara gave the warning during the commissioning of Mgbuodohia internal roads in Obio-Akpor Local Government Area today. It comes barely 48 hours after he ordered the indefinite suspension of Eze Igbu Akoh the third, Cassidy Ikegbidi, over his alleged acts of complicity in ceding control of his territory to cultists to freely operate in Ahoada-East Local Government Area.

The United Arab Emirates today lifted the visa ban placed on Nigerian travelers.

It comes after the meeting between President Bola Tinubu and the UAE President, Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, in Abu Dhabi.

The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, made the agreement known in a statement. The two leaders also agreed to resume flight schedules of both Etihad Airlines and Emirates Airlines into and out of Nigeria, without any further delay.

INSECURITY: IGP SETS UP COMMITTEE TO REVIEW FI****MS LICENSING, REGULATIONS

Reiterates Commitment to Eradicate Illicit Arms, Orders CPs, Squads to Clampdown on Illegal Owners

The Inspector-General of Police, Ag. IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, NPM, Ph.D., has announced the establishment of an ad hoc committee tasked with the comprehensive review of fi****ms licensing and regulations by the Nigeria Police Force in line with the Fi****ms Act and other extant laws, in the interest of public safety and general security. The Committee's mandate will encompass a thorough assessment of current fi****ms licensing procedures and regulations, with the aim of enhancing their effectiveness, transparency, and accountability. The Police will engage with relevant stakeholders, including legal experts, civil society organizations, and experts in the field, to ensure a holistic and well-informed review.

Similarly, in furtherance of his zeal to tackle all forms of insecurity in the country, the IGP has issued a stern warning to all individuals involved in the wrongful possession of arms and light weapons, reiterated that illegal proliferation of fi****ms and light weapons poses a significant threat to the peace and stability of our nation. In light of this, the Nigeria Police Force is resolutely determined to combat the illegal fabrication, sales, possession and use of arms emphasizing that possessing fi****ms without the appropriate licenses and permits is not only a violation of the law but also a grave danger to society. He assured that the Nigeria Police Force will spare no effort in pursuing and prosecuting those engaged in these illegal activities to the full extent of the law.

Stonebwoy has announced new dates for his upcoming “5th Dimesnion” tour across Australia, Europe, and the UK.

The new tour dates arrive on the heels of the already successful “5th Dimension” North America tour, which saw the BET award-winning international reggae, dancehall, and afropop artiste headline multiple venues in over 10 cities in the United States of America and Canada, as well as appearances in three international music festivals such as the Bayfront World Reggae and Music Festival in Duluth, the ACDA Emancipation Festival in Guyana, and the City Park Summer Stage festival in New York.

Stonebwoy’s newly announced 10-date tour will take the Ghana-native musician to multiple cities across Europe, the UK, and Australia. Let me share this with you!

I was having issues with one of my MoMo accounts some few weeks ago so I called MTN customer care, and I was informed they were doing some maintenance so the issue will be resolved as soon as it's done. Since then, I have been having issues with my network.

Yesterday, the other number was having connection issues so I went to their office to check about the cause.

Guess what! The lady told me I have exhausted the 10 number Registration limit with my Ghana Card and there were some conflicting data issues.

I was surprised because I had only registered 3 SIM cards (2 MTN, 1 Vodafone) with my Ghana Card so where from the other 7 numbers registered in the name of my Ghana Card? The lady then had to cross check from their system, and to my surprise, she found 7 different numbers that have been registered with my Ghana Card details without my knowledge.

I have to fill some forms for review so that they delete those numbers. They told me they will call after the review. I am yet to receive the call as to whether or not they have deleted those numbers.

I therefore advise you to go and check from your service providers, your SIM registration limit status. Your Ghana Card could be use to register other SIMs without your knowledge.

"I travelled from Johannesburg, South Africa leaving my dad's mansion to visit the Ghanaian guy whom I have been talking to for three months now only to see him living in a kiosk at circle in Accra. I was surprised but his situation didn't changed my mind on him since I love him. We met online and started talking and he proposed to me and i accepted. On the day I arrived in Ghana, I took him to a hotel so we spend our first night together. The next day, we looked for a better apartment and I paid for it. He was so happy and I was also happy too but because of how I love him, I couldn't afford to leave him in Ghana so I took him along to my country. We left the apartment we rented for his little brother. He is now working at my dad's company. We are planning to get married soon. I love him"

I WRONGLY PITIED MY CLASSMATE

Meeting an *old class mate,* we had not seen each other for about *30 years.* The Lord has been kind to me.
When I saw him again, this time at a hotel lobby, *he was looking simple.* He wore *simple clothes.* I felt touched.
He walked up to me and was glad to see me again. But deep within me I was not impressed with his status compared to mine and poor me, I couldn't hide it.
We exchanged contact details and I could see the joy in him as he collected mine.
I told him I will drop him home in my brand new *Range Rover* and I pointed it to him.
He declined and said he had already called for his car. It looked old, *a 2001 Honda Accord*.
I invited him the next day for lunch at my house. A part of me wanted to impress him, *to show off my success and affluence to him,* while another was to discuss opportunities and possibly help him.

He drove to Parkview where I lived. *He looked impressed with my home.* I had taken a heavy mortgage. *In fact I was heavily in debt.* We had lunch. He told me he was into small business and particularly real estate. I brought up more business discussions, but he didn't sound too interested. I asked him how I could help him. He said he was fine. I even told him if he was interested, I could help him secure some loans... He looked at me and smiled.

He told me he would invite me over soon to his place. His old car came for him. I was grateful to God for what I had. *“Fingers are not all equal”,* I thought to myself...I was lucky. I worked in a good place.

Two weeks later, we went to see him in a remote, my wife and I.
She was reluctant to go because she was not impressed with the man's status as to warrant our visiting him in his house.
I was able to convince her that we were close friends in college.
We saw the Estate. We asked for directions to his home. Those leading us spoke his name with deference.
It was a simple but lovely home. A 4 bedroom bungalow. I saw 4 cars parked in front. We entered his home.
