Hilda Baci Dethroned As Longest Cooking Marathon Record Holder

The Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon has officially been surpassed by Nigerian chef Hilda Effiong Bassey, also referred to as Hilda Baci.

Guinness World Records (GWR) verified this on Tuesday and named Alan Fisher, as the new record holder in a statement posted on their website. The record is now held by an Irish chef in Japan who has been cooking for 119 hours and 57 minutes.

General Legal Council Approves Ama Governor’s Call To The Bar Admission

Elorm Ama Ababio, also known as Ama Governor, a Ghanaian social media influencer and aspiring lawyer has finally been granted access to be called to bar.

Ama Governor's application to join the bar was rejected in November 2022 as a result of a complaint made by a "concerned citizen". She was accused of engaging in behavior that was deemed to be "conduct unbecoming of an applicant to be called to bar"

Due to the complaint, the Legal Council had to postpone Ama Governor's call to the bar which led to massive responses and discussions on the behavior of Ghanaian law students

In a recent development, Ama Governor has been given permission to finish the application procedure to be called to the bar according to the report of the Ghana Bar Association's (GBA) representative on the General Legal Council.

These two dancers who happen to be students of Accra Technical Training Centre are currently facing suspension for appearing in Olivetheboy’s music video wearing their school uniforms.

If memory serves, these youngsters rose to renown for their dancing abilities after doing a routine to Stonebwoy's song "Apotheke" within their school.

In contrast to the innocent image they had previously presented, they appeared in OliveTheBoy's most recent music video, "Goodsin," which had "explicit" themes.

According to reports, the school administration has started an inquiry into why the students participated in the production outside the school's premises while wearing their uniforms, which is against school policy and could lead them into suspension
