*How To Fix or Increase Satellite Signal Strength Of A Dish Antenna*
The signal quality of a C-band Satellite dish can be determined by the materials used for construction, the focal length, sizes, LNB, cable and many more, don’t worry I will get you cover on how to increase satellite signal strength by 10-15% on any C-band dish, Let’s dive in.

*1.Obstructions Remove*
Satellite dish needs to be mount or sited where dish will be free from obstacles like buildings, trees and mask network. So to increase satellite signal strength, You have to mount your antenna at least 15m to 20m dish away from any obstacles.

*2.Cable Connection*
To increase satellite signal strength of your dish antenna, the cable connector like F-connector should be properly installed and connected to both the receiver and antenna. Preferably use coaxial cable with not more than 25m long i.e connection distance between dish antenna and the receiver.

*3.Choosing LNB with Low db Noise Figure*
LNB is another thing you need to consider to increase the signal of dish antenna. LNB with low db noise figure can boost your signal strength and quality with 15% above.

*4.Using Scaler Ring*
Scaler ring features with two important things, One is to increase the signal strength of a dish antenna for a satellite which your geographical location not cover, hence, Scaler ring will increase the signal strength from 5% to 10% and Secondly, Scaler ring helps to receive C-band signal on KU band dish antenna

*5.Dish Stand And Pole Should Be Well Mounted*
Signal strength usually reduce if the dish antenna standing or pole is not well straight and not properly aligned while mounting the the pole or standing. To increase the Direct tv Satellite Signal Strength of your dish antenna you have to make sure that the pole or standing must form 90 degree towards the earth surface.

*6.Focal Length or Point Must Be Accurate*
Focal Point is very important as far as installation of satellite dish antenna is concern because without knowing the focal point or length between the center of the dish to the feed horn or LNB, It will be very difficult to get signal or increase the signal strength of a dish antenna

*7.Using Brass And Removing LNB Cover*
Removing LNB Plastic cover always recommended to adopt anytime you are installing KU band dish antenna because it will make your installation fast and safe energy. After removing plastic cover and you still experience lost of signal due to beam or footprint, then using brass with LNB will be essential to increase the signal strength of a dish antenna by attaching the brass to the round surface of the LNB.

*8.Increase In Size Of A Satellite Dish*
After you have done all what I said earlier, The best thing you can do to increase the signal strength of a satellite dish is by increasing its size. For instance, if you are using 8ft dish antenna before without achieving or getting signal then, you can increase the size of the dish to 12ft. Same way you can increase Direct tv Satellite Signal Strength.

*HOW TO CALCULATE TV MOUNTING HEIGHT*

*Method 1*

One of the most challenging parts of mounting a TV on a wall is finding the right optimal height. Depending on whether you will be watching TV seated, standing, or both, you need to determine the best viewing height for the situation.

To calculate the ideal TV mounting height, consider the following factors:

1. TV size
2. Viewing distance from the TV
3. Eye level height from the floor
4. Reclining sitting angle

*1. TV Size (TVS)*

The size of the TV greatly affects the TV mounting height. When purchasing a TV, the size is usually marked on the box (e.g., 32″, 40″, 55″, etc.). Alternatively, you can measure the size of your TV diagonally, excluding the bevel.

*2. Viewing Distance (VD)*

Viewing distance refers to the distance between the TV screen and the viewer's seating position. For optimal viewing, the viewing distance can be calculated based on the TV size. Measure from the viewer's seating position to the wall where the TV will be mounted (in inches). The optimal VD can be calculated using the following formula:

*Formula 1:* Viewing Distance (VD) = TVS × 1.67

This is the optimum TV viewing distance based on TV size. If your room layout prevents you from sitting at the optimum distance, measure the actual distance.

*Example:* If your TV size (TVS) is 32, the optimal Viewing Distance (VD) should be 53 inches, calculated as follows:

*32 × 1.67 = 53*

Therefore, your ideal Viewing Distance (VD) is *53 inches.*

This formula is optimized for a 30-degree viewing angle, which falls within the recommended limits set by the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers, THX, and manufacturers for 16:9 HDTV.

*3. Eye Level Height (ELH) from the Floor*

Eye level height is the distance, in inches, from the floor to the viewer's eyes while seated and watching TV. Simply measure from the floor to the viewer's eyes.

For instance, when seated on a couch (sofa), the eye level from the floor is typically between *40-42* inches, but for the purposes of this study, *we use 40 inches.*

*4. Reclining Angle (RA)*

If the viewer sits upright with their torso at a 90 degree angle to the floor, the reclining angle is zero. However, if the viewer reclines, the angle is measured from the vertical. The more the viewer reclines, the higher the TV mounting height should be.

Typically, couch (sofa) manufacturers recommend a reclining angle of *10-15* degrees for casual sitting.

*TV Mounting Height (TVMH)*

Now that we know all the parameters contributing to TV mounting height, we can calculate it using the following formula:

*Formula 2:*
*Step 1:* Find the viewing distance by multiplying the TV size by 1.67.

*Step 2:* Multiply 0.22 by the viewing distance and add the eye level height (40).

*Example:* Viewing Distance (VD) = TVS × 1.67

TV Mounting Height (TVMH) = 0.22 × VD + ELH

Now, let's calculate the TV mounting height for a 32-inch TV:

TVS = 32
VD = 32 × 1.67 = 53
TVMH = 0.22 × VD (53) + ELH (40)
TVMH = 0.22 × 53 + 40
TVMH = 52 inches

*32 x 1.67 x 0.22 + 40 = 52*

*Breakdown:*

- TV size: 32 inches
- Viewing distance: 53 inches
- Eye level height: 40 inches
- TV mounting height: 52 inches

Therefore, the optimal TV mounting height for a 32-inch TV is 52 inches.

This formula assumes a 12.5-degree reclining angle for simplicity and calculates the distance in inches from the floor to the middle of the TV.

As a rule of thumb:

- A 32-inch TV should be mounted approximately 52 inches from the floor to the center of the TV screen.
- A 42-inch TV should be mounted approximately 55 inches from the floor to the center of the TV screen.
- A 55-inch TV should be mounted approximately 60 inches from the floor to the center of the TV screen.
- A 65-inch TV should be mounted approximately 65 inches from the floor to the center of the TV screen.
- A 70-inch TV should be mounted approximately 67 inches from the floor to the center of the TV screen.

DID YOU KNOW

THAT 45E HAS A HIDDEN TRANSPONDER THAT IS ACTIVE BUT WITHOUT CHANNELS EVEN WHEN VSN IS OFF-AIR?

WHEN YOU ARE TRACKING 45E AND THE SIGNAL 12610H12500 GOES OFF WHILE AT WORK, DO NOT DESPAIR BUT RATHER SWITCH YOUR TP TO 11485V9000 AND USE IT TO TRACK DOWN 45E POSITION WHICH WILL ONLY REQUIRE BLINDSCAN WHEN 12610H12500 IS UP AND RUNNING. THE TP 11485V9000 HAS A VERY HIGH INTENSITY THAT ITS ALSO EASY TO PICKUP.
