The Afcon has really developed both technically and infrastructure wise .
Watching the 2024 edition in Cote Dé voire one could vividly state that;
1. Refreeing has been superb throughout the Group stages .
2. The pool of talents on the field has been polished to grace or compete in every tournament in the football cycle .
3. The Technique used by players has really improved resulting in us witnessing massive goals , beautiful set pieces leading to goals and individuals prominence.
4. The Gap between” the big dog’s and smaller dogs “ in the continent or in the history of the tournament has really decreased to its lowest level. This has evidently resulted in the smaller teams upsetting the bigger teams in the last two Afcon tournament.
5. The African football which was mainly base on physics has grown with quality in all angles of the game. You can see a tier 3 side player in Europe is leading goalking chart
6. In conclusion, I for-see the Africanteams making it big by lifting the World Cup based on the above factors. The Gaps between the African continent and other continents will continue to be decreased if the above factors keeps improving .
