Stormy Turbulence and I

We met once a many moment's ago.
As my life was like ocean waves ,
with strong pull of the heart being torn each way.

However, it's also the opposite for me some days. So I walk the edge looking for beautiful shell's.

Prettiest flower I've ever seen.

To see her was like a dream.
Her energy was like magic.
She glowed as though not real.
She had to be a dream.!

Prettiest Angel ever seen.
You could feel her presence
throughout your flesh.

The color's of her dress were
the blue's of my favorite colors.
With sunlight giving her grace
to almost float on air.

Happy to see her in my dreams
as well as live.
Prettiest as ever since
my first sighting.

Always felt like a dream come true.

I know when you are right by my side
It is a whole lot going on inside you
Your lips starts shaking, I feel it too
You want our tongues dancing together
So you stare at me with lustfulness
Needing my cuddles and embrace
This is something you can not hide

You want to hold my hands my darling
Pull me close, un-botton my shirt
It is a whole lot going on inside you
You stop to think, feelings take control
You reach out for my arms with tense
Needing my hugs and warm romance
This is something you can not hide

The truth is that you can not pretend
You loose your guard, you can't defend
When our eyes meet, you become shy
Said I make you scared, makes you fly
But you run to me when you feel afraid
Looking at my lips like a bag of treasure
Wanting to explore, castles of pleasure
This is something you can not hide

You feel safe in my arms, you are mine
Care for you, protect you with everything
Love you to the depth, you're my heart
All the colours of the world exists in you
You are wonderful, a Queen and more
But I wait, waiting to give you my name
So together forever, our journey can begin
For this is something we can not hide

Our Story

Daily Poems Press is an online publishing company that was founded by Poet Membis Godwin Chukwukamma on October 15th 2014 as a page when it first appeared as his personal page for his poetry and it had the name Membis Godwin until January 2016 when the page was changed to Daily Poems with the help of Poet Nancy Denniss who was made an Admin to help keep the page active for Poetry lovers to always have access to poems while on Facebook as Facebook is the widest social network.

Daily Poems continued as a page with the help of other poets who became admins to help keep the page active and these poets include, Julieta Asenita (Philippine), Okoroafor Clement Onyekachi (Biafran), DevotedlyZ (USA) Tony Parks (USA) and Carlos Gomez (USA) until July 18th 2018 when the founder decided to turn the page to an online publishing company to serve as a platform where poets could have their books published and till today, it is becoming a dream come through as the goal of Daily Poems is the promotion of poetry, poets and literacy.

There is always a motivation to everything and Daily Poems becoming an online publishing company was motivated by a Canadian publishing company WrittenRock which is founded by Andrew Aitken.

OUR MISSION

1. To help poets achieve their dreams of being published

2. To help in the promotion of art and literacy

3. To help lovers of poetry have access to poetic anthologies

4. To help in promoting love, peace, unity, freedom, justice and equity

5. To create a large community of poets and poetry lovers

OUR VISION

We do not want to be Jack of all trade and Master of none and for this sole reason, we have chosen to specialize on online publication of poetry and below is what we wish to achieve through our unique scheme.

1. To become the widest and best online poetry publishing company.

2. To help affect positive change in publication processes through our modern approach to publication.

3. To serve as a platform where poets and lovers of poetry could meet and share ideas so as to help the younger generation poets to be informed about poetic principles and laws of poetic concern which will go along way towards fostering classicism in poetry.

4. To help change the world through poetry by impacting moral principles into our readers through our massive annual anthologies.

Our publication is solely online and we publish poetry genre only, our anthologies are also made available for download here on our website.

Daily Poems Press maintains the right to be the online company to enjoy the right of being the only online publisher of each book and any book authors has the total right to publish any of our already published book on print as hard-copy but s obliged to acknowledge us as the online publisher of the book.

We also accept the publication of books already published on print

PROMOTION

We carry out our book promotion online because of the wide market and audience on the internet.
