SIX LEADERSHIP PRINCIPLES TO LEARN FROM AN EAGLE....

1. Eagles fly Alone and at High Altitudes.
They don't fly with sparrows, ravens, and other small birds.

MEANING; Stay away from narrow-minded people, those that bring you down. Eagle flies with Eagles. Keep good company.

2. Eagles have an Accurate Vision. They have the ability to focus on something as far as 5km away. No matter the obstacles, the eagle will not move his focus from the prey until he grabs it.

MEANING; Have a vision and remain focused no matter what the obstacles and you will succeed.

3. Eagles do not Eat Dead things. They Feed only on Fresh Prey.

MEANING; Do not rely on your past success, keep looking for new frontiers to conquer. Leave your past where it belongs, in the past.

4. Eagles Love the Storm.
When clouds gather, the eagle gets excited, the eagle uses the storms wind to lift itself higher. Once it finds the wind of the storm, the eagle uses the raging storm to lift itself above the clouds. This gives the eagle an opportunity to glide and rest its wings. In the meantime, all the other birds hide in the branches and leaves of the tree.

MEANING; Face your challenges head on knowing that these will make you emerge stronger and better than you were. We can use the storms of life to rise to greater heights. Achievers are not afraid to rise to greater heights. Achievers are not afraid of challenges, rather they relish them and use them profitably.

5. Eagles Prepare for Training;
They remove the feathers and soft grass in the nest so that the young ones get uncomfortable in preparation for flying and eventually flies/ when it becomes unbearable to stay in the nest./

MEANING; Leave your Comfort Zone, there is No Growth there.

6. When the Eagle Grows Old,
His feathers becomes weak and cannot take him as fast and as high as it should. This makes him weak and could make him die. So he retires to a place far away in the mountains. While there, he plucks out the weak feathers on his body and breaks its beaks and claws against the rocks until he is completely bare; a very bloody and painful process. Then he stays in this hiding place until he has grown new feathers, new beaks and claws and then he comes out flying higher than before.

MEANING; We occasionally need to shed off old habits no matter how difficult, things that burden us or add no value to our lives should be let go of.

Isaiah 40:31 "But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint."

The word "Eden" is an Hebrew word for "where God dwells", so the first thing God gave man was "His Presence".
1. So the first thing a man needs is NOT a woman; it is the presence of God, and a woman should meet him in the presence of God. Eve met Adam in Eden.

2. The next thing God gave man after putting him in the Garden was WORK. (Gen. 2:15). God gave man work before giving him a woman. That means a man needs a job before he gets a woman. God's priorities are very clear.

3. The third thing God told man was "Cultivate"...... Cultivate here means, bring out the best in everything around you, to maximize the potentials of everything and everyone around you; to make everything fruitful. He only said that to the male. That's why God will never give a man a finished woman. The male was created by God to create whatever he wants. The woman you are looking for doesn't exist; she's in your head. Your job is to take the raw material you married and cultivate her into the woman in your head. So you have been married for 20yrs and you still don't like the product you get, that's your fault.
3a. If your wife is putting a little weight and you don't like that, don't criticize her; it's your job to wake her at 6am, " Hey baby, let's go jogging".

3b. You don't like her dress? Take her to a boutique and buy her clothes you like.

3c. She can't speak good English? Send her to school and pay her tuition fee. CULTIVATE HER!!!!

4. The fourth thing God said to man was, "Guard the Garden". The man has to be the protector of everything under his care. That's why God gave you a stronger bone frame. A bigger muscle mass, not to abuse the woman, but to protect the woman.

5. The last thing God gave man was his Word... God told man not to touch the tree; God never told the woman about the tree, NEVER!!!..... Which means it was the man WHO received the word of God and his job was to teach his wife the word of God.

NOTE: Nothing frustrates a woman like when she asks her man "So what do you think" and the dummy answers "what ever you think is OK"....or keeps quiet. ..Giving Silence...mmmm.
Don't do that bro, don't do that. She's looking for knowledge and direction. That was the last command God gave to man in Vs 17.
★Now watch this: in verse 18, God said, "It is not good for this man to be alone". Now, don't just read the statement fast, read it again slowly, " it is not good for THIS MAN to be alone".

WHAT MAN???

Answer: The man who is:
* In his presence
* Has a job (working)
* Can Cultivate you
* Can protect you
* Can teach you.

So here's the problem:
★ if you meet a man who doesn't like God's presence, isn't working, can't cultivate you, can't protect you and can't teach you, then.....
IT IS GOOD FOR THAT MAN TO BE ALONE!

Tonight, we want to talk about PERFECT ANOINTING. Isaiah 10:27. Anointing is a very powerful thing and it does quite a lot of things for the anointed.

1. Anointing announces the presence of the anointed, it advertises the anointed. For example, Judges 16:1-2, as soon as Samson arrives in his city, the whole city heard, Samson has come again. 1st Samuel 16:1-5. HOW I BALANCED SPIRITUALITY AND SKILL IN MY MUSIC MINISTRY”

One of the scriptures that opened me up is John 4:22 – “Ye worship what ye know not: we know what we worship…” this means, knowledge drives worship. Worship is the response to revelational knowledge.
When people say to me, “come and minister to us”, they are indirectly saying, “come and tell us what is going on between you and God in music form”. That’s where the concept or idea of the song should come from – your love and relationship with God.
You can’t be in the presence of God and not get a release from Him to you. Our songs are revelations (Ps 119:54) and the revelations you have of God impacts upon the quality of work that you do. During my training, I had a pastor who was fiercely excellent.
So we would do trainings choir practice for four hours and then he would open his door and when he comes back he would say, ‘now let’s start choir practice’. So we would begin all over again.

We would pray with him all through the night into the Service in tongues. We had a programme called “Lazarus come forth” and during the last seven days of the thirty days we were on dry fast and back-to-back vigils into the healing service. We were also hearing the word during that time. So that is the spiritual preparation.
Then when it came to the music, he (my pastor) would ask me “Nathaniel, now that you have decided to just focus on God, what are the instruments you need?” He would travel and buy me seven trumpets – expensive ones.

On the one hand I had spiritual inheritance and then, the words of prophecy I had over me was global. That’s why I say to people “if God has called you to minister globally, you can’t do things like a local person. If you want to play globally, some people don’t have patience to want to listen out for your voice. So engage excellence so that while they are appreciating the quality of the music, the anointing hits them.
The anointing can be present in your song but your quality can ruin it. I tell people that God looks at your heart but men listen to the quality of your voice. God loves you too much to embarrass you, so he won’t open some doors to you. So you will be powerful in your local assembly. You will be anointed in your vicinity because God loves you too much to open a global door to you.

I have always have this mantra for my music ministry – Spirit, skill, character, modelled after David in 1Samuel 16. It wasn’t prayer that took David to the palace, it was skill that opened the door. Skill has a way of opening doors.
I was reading some comments on Twitter about Dunsin Oyekan, and some people were like, “I don’t know where this sound is coming from (in marvel)…” It’s the anointing but it is years of practice and diligence. Skill does not come by prayer and fasting. Skill is simple repetitive task over time that becomes your nature.
When I play the trumpet, people say I am so anointed but it took me five hours of practice before the meeting. I believe our ministries will blossom when we begin to deliver our gifts in a more excellent manner. When I say excellence, I also mean excellence in character.

I believe excellence is a tool for dominion. So I tell believers, when they are sacking people in the office, they shouldn’t mention your name. When they mention your name, it should be, “if we loose this guy we are gone”. It takes a level of competence to achieve this.

“E. Stanley Jones, who is now with our Lord, was a famous Methodist missionary in India for some 50 years. (...)

I’m told that sometime before his home-going, when he was in his 80’s, he had a stroke of paralysis. The doctors were able to help him in a Boston, Massachusetts hospital but not enough to make him walk. He asked his family to let him go back to India. There in India he called in many of the people whom he had led to Christ, who now were strong in the Lord.

He said to them, “Open the Bible to the book of Acts, Chapter 3, where Peter and John said to the lame man, In the name of Jesus Christ, rise up and walk.’ Now each morning I want you to come into my room before daylight, before I awaken, and whisper in my ear, ‘In the name of Jesus Christ, rise up and walk.’”

They did as he asked. Then one day E. Stanley Jones felt a stirring in his body. He took his first step. Then other steps.

Someone told him it was Columbus Day. Columbus Day celebrates the discovery of America by Christopher Columbus in 1492.

On this particular day E. Stanley Jones felt God in a new way. He said, “I’m going to walk.” As he walked, he counted his steps—1492 steps. E. Stanley Jones in his 80’s, just prior to his going to be with the Lord, found the works of God were still working in him.”

Seven Reasons Why Every Believer Should Speak in Tongues

The Apostle Paul wrote and spoke much about the subject of speaking in other tongues, and he apparently practiced what he preached, for he said, “I thank my God, I speak with tongues more than ye all” (1 Cor. 14:18).

The purpose of this particular article is to briefly set forth seven reasons why every Christian should speak in tongues and to help believers see the blessings that can be theirs through daily appropriating the power of the Holy Spirit in their lives.

Reason Number One

The Word of God teaches that when we are filled with the Holy Ghost, we speak with other tongues as the Spirit of God gives utterance. Speaking in tongues is an initial evidence, or sign, of the baptism of the Holy Spirit: “And they were all FILLED WITH THE HOLY GHOST, and began to SPEAK WITH OTHER TONGUES, as the Spirit gave them utterance” (Acts 2:4).

Reason Number Two

Paul encouraged the Corinthian Christians to continue the practice of speaking with other tongues in their worship of God. He also encouraged them to speak in tongues in their individual prayer life as a means of spiritual edification, or building up. The Bible says, “He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself . . .” (1 Cor. 14:4).

Paul also stated in First Corinthians 14:14, “For if I pray in an unknown tongue, MY SPIRIT PRAYETH, but my understanding is unfruitful.” Notice he said, “My spirit prays.”

The Amplified Bible reads, “My spirit [by the Holy Spirit within me] prays . . . .” God is a Spirit. When you pray in tongues, your spirit is in direct contact with God, who is a Spirit. When you speak in tongues, you are talking to Him by divine, supernatural means.

Reason Number Three

A third reason people should speak with other tongues is that speaking with tongues keeps us continually aware of the Holy Spirit’s indwelling Presence. Not only is speaking with tongues the initial sign or evidence of the Holy Spirit’s infilling

“Are you ready to meet the Holy Spirit intimately and personally? Do you want to hear His voice? Are you prepared to know Him as a person? That’s exactly what happened to me, and it drastically transformed my life. It was an intensely personal experience, and it was based on God’s Word.

You may ask, “Was it the result of a systematic Bible study?”. No, it happened when I invited the Holy Spirit to be my personal friend. To be my constant guide. To take me by the hand and lead me “into all truth.” What He will uncover and reveal to you in Scripture will make your study of the Bible come alive.

What I am about to share with you began the moment the Holy Spirit entered my room in December 1973, and it has never stopped. Here is the only difference: I know Him infinitely better today than I did when we first met.

Let’s start with the basics.The Holy Spirit changed my life. He was with me from the moment I asked Christ to come into my heart and became born again. Then came the time when I received the baptism of the Holy Spirit. I was “filled” with the Spirit. I spoke in tongues. He imparted His presence and His gifts. So many Christians have received that same experience and stop right there.
