Alade stated, “Today men are the reason I don’t win awards in Nigeria,” highlighting the prevalent issue of s*xual exploitation in the industry. She elaborated on the pressure she faced, acknowledging past instances where she was propositioned for s*x in exchange for career advancement opportunities, deals, and awards. Despite these obstacles, Alade expressed pride in her decision to maintain her dignity and integrity, stressing that she values her fans’ adoration above all else.

The ‘Johnny’ crooner emphasized the importance of staying true to oneself and standing firm against unethical practices, stating, “When I made my decision never to engage in s*xual activities for gains, lots of opportunities were automatically blocked for me.”

Following Funny Face's car accident, which occurred yesterday at Kakraba junction in Kasoa, it has been confirmed that nobody died. However, an old lady who was taking care of her grandchildren got injured in the leg and is currently unable to walk without assistance.

Her granddaughter suffered a head injury; fortunately, a scan revealed no brain damage. Additionally, her grandson suffered slight bruises to the head but will be discharged today.

They received medical attention at the Kasoa Polyclinic before being referred to Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.

Kuami Eugene involved in an accident at CP close to DSTV, after Achimota Overhead towards Dzorwulu traffic light.

He crashed into a tipper truck behind. Its happened around 11:30pm on Sunday.

ModernGhana editor Ajarfor who was right behind his Range Rover mangled car rushed to their rescue.

He arranged for a vehicle to convey him together with one person (a male) onboard to UGMC hospital. Kuami was the one driving.

He also called Achimota Police to the scene.

“I was behind them so I stopped and rush to rescue them that was when I realised it was Kuami Eugene.

“He had a broken wrist and a deep cut on his right hand,” Ajarfor said.

📌 : For the first time, renowned actress and host of Onua Showtime, Nana Ama McBrown has responded to claims that her husband, Maxwell Mensah abuses her.

The rumours which gained popularity on social media in November last year started with an audio claiming that McBrown travelled to do a surgery for her arm when her husband, pushed her down the stairs during an assault.
In the said video where a male voice seems to be having a conversation with another person, it mentioned that McBrown is not happy in her marriage because the husband is not only a perceived womaniser but beats her always, resulting in the fracture of her arm during one of such episodes.
However, during a discussion on fake news carried by bloggers on Onua Showtime recently, McBrown denied the story, pointing out that there was no way a woman of her status will accept that.

 “Do I look like a lady who would be beaten by her husband? Such a thing (abuse) cannot happen in my house. I’m not a woman who would tolerate being mistreated by my husband,” she positively declared.
She explained that there were many times that she has had calls from family members and loved ones following untrue stories about her..
McBrown recounted how her mother called very disturbed one time to find out why she was hiding her husband’s alleged domestic violence from her when she (mother) read it online.
“I’ve told my mother that until I call her or a family member calls to provide an information, she should ignore everything she hears.

“When she called to enquire about the stories of my husband beating me, I just asked, “does she think a woman like me will allow herself to be beaten by her husband?’”

📌 : Michy, Shatta Wale’s ex-lover with whom they share a son, has disclosed that despite breaking off things with him, she still “has tiny bits of sweetness” for him.

Speaking on Accra based Okay FM, recently, Michy pointed out that she and her baby daddy have moved beyond the bad blood to build a better relationship for the sake of their son, Majesty and for future businesses.
Michy said she presently has brotherly affection for Shatta Wale since she owes him that care as the father of her child.
“I’m happy we have been able to look beyond our differences and bad blood for the sake of the child and businesses that we can do together in future.

 “I won’t say I feel something like the way it used to be, it’s more brotherly right now and of course, we have a child together so I owe him that care.
“I’ve shown lots of care to him publicly as well and we won’t be hypocrites and say oh it just faded off, a lot of things have made it fade off but that tiny bit of sweetness is there,” she stated.

The comments by Michy possibly confirm the now cordial relationship existing between the ex-lovers.
Last week, Shatta Wale rallied for support for Michy when he asked his followers via Twitter to throw their weight behind Michy’s new single, titled “Hustle”
