The wonderment of Norway 🇳🇴

Norway, situated in the Arctic Circle, is called the Land of the Midnight Sun, where from May to late July, the sun actually never sets—This means that for around a period of 76 days, the sun never goes down.

Also, there is a place called Svalbard in Norway where even in the midnight, the sun shines continually, completing the whole rotation of the clock of 24hours.

This is the longest period in the world where the sun shines.

Let me break it down—Imagine looking out your window around 9:30pm and everywhere like afternoon, with warm feeling, sun shinning so bright and you can see the houses in the next street.

This goes on every year: The sun doesn't set between 20 April and 22 August.

If your bathroom is tiled- Read this!!!

1. When your phone rings, never be in haste to pick up. No matter how important the call is, even if it is a million dollar worth of call. Let your phone ring, you can always call back.

2. Get a different type of tiles for your bathroom. Tilers can help you. Avoid smooth tiles. If what you have is a smooth tiles, change it ASAP!

3. Get bathroom slippers. There are slippers for bathroom. Not the random slippers you wear in your streets. These slippers are designed in such a way that when you step in them, it grips the floor.

4. Avoid raising one leg in the attempt of washing and scrubbing it. This particular one has sent many people to their early grave. If you need to scrub your legs, bend down with your legs gripped to the floor or sit in your bath tub to wash your legs.

5. Avoid your bathroom from getting wet at all times. For those who have their WATER-CLOSET combined with the shower/ bath tub. Don’t spill water everywhere in the name of bathing.

6. There is nothing so important in the world when you are in the bathroom. No running. Walk gently.

6. Get a towel. A towel same size just as the one you use in drying your body or even bigger. Place at the entrance of your bathroom. It is wise to always dry your feet before moving out to any other part of the house.

7. If you have kids below 7, never let them in the bathroom alone. As in, never!

8. Don’t take your phone in. Either you are bathing or you are not. Do not go in with your phone. Your Phone is a big distraction.

9. Wash your face separately. You must not have soap on your face while you are also washing other part of your body. Important to have your eyes open at all times.

10. Do not dance. Many are guilty of this. PLEASE STOP IT!

The Reddish part of the chicken head and the chicken jaw is called Comb and wattles. You may have wondered why chicken have these two reddish parts. Well, it is not for beauty. The comb of a chicken functions as its cooling system— it operates like the radiator in a car. Chickens have a much higher body temperature than we humans. If you put your hand under the feather of a chicken, you will confirm that. The normal chicken body temperature ranges from about 105 to 107 degrees Fahrenheit, yet chickens don't sweat.
So it is these reddish part called comb and wattles that helps them put their temperature under control.

If you microwave an egg (with shell or without shell) ; it will explode—Well, I am sure many of us know this.

However, the reason why it explodes, some of us may not know. So this is it!

There is water inside every egg and when you cook them or boil them or heat them up to a certain point, the water turns into steam, and this steam because of the enclose surface of the egg doesn't have an easy way to escape. So, reaching a point that it can no longer be accommodated, it then force itself out of the egg, by exploding. This doesn’t only happen in the microwave though. It happens also when you are trying to cook rice and then you add eggs inside the boiling rice. And later, you see an egg or two already bursted.
1. Those bursted eggs are the ones that most sat at the bottom of your pot and had receive more heat while those that are just okay, are the ones that received lesser heat.

2. Also, you need to understand that the longest an egg should use on your gas cooker is 5/10 minutes max.

The last picture is an injury caused by egg explosion from a microwave. Egg explosion can be dangerous!
