A pulpit is an elevated space, used by people who want to communicate to a larger group of people. Psychologically when a person or an animal takes an elevated space in a gathering eyes are fixated on him, with the hope of hearing something good from him.
Do not consider this as a sole religious space but an avenue for good, positive and productive information.

No blood! No glory!
There is a price for every gain. Nothing is found on a silver or wooden platter. Some religious fanatics hate this truth but it must be told. Before you enjoy entitlement you must wear the title, before I get paid I have to work.
Nobody, absolutely nobody lives on free lunch, if people give to some extent, they will get fed up. The more reason why we have to put in the effort. Before Dr Kwame Nkrumah will lead the fight for independence he went through a lot of backlashes even from his people, what of Nelson Mandela? These men are African icons who broke protocols to give us what we enjoy today and for that matter, their names are .mentioned everywhere today. No blood! No Glory!
Jesus Christ the son of God, was punished and maltreated and in the end, His name is mentioned everywhere for the past 2000years. None of these men sat idle and hoped that things will get better. They made efforts, they moved when things didn't look good. They saw hope and it motivated them to push until things were better for others. their toil, sweat and blood are the symbols of our liberation today.
No blood! No Glory!
We must live each day as people who look up to such great men. Men who will move even when the coast isn't clear, men that will move when all you see are setbacks, men that will move when all they saw were betrayals. We need to be men that see beyond the immediate predicament and see the impending victory. Men that will be hopeful when all have given up, men that
Will be optimists when all are pessimists. Men will be subjective against all odds. No blood! No Glory!
Before Moses could see the glory of God he had to stand on a mountain that was constantly shaking at the sound of God's voice, but he stood brave throughout the conversation. Can you imagine standing on a shaking mountain? How do you feel when there is an earthquake? What of Mordecai, he had to make a personal effort with which God used to glorify him.
No blood! No Glory!
God bless you

What God has joined?
What has God joined? Every union observed in the house of God and before the alter is NOT always joined by God. A union joined by God is one that is accepted by God and has been developed according to the will of God.
People defy God in their relationships, yet they want to drag God in the latter part of it and make it look like He(God) joined them. Did he? Do you remember the part of the scripture that says we should do everything to glorify God? Or u skipped it. If you did not travel with him you can't arrive with him.
Did you seek his consent before starting that relationship? Did all your actions within that relationship please God? Did God really join a union he knew nothing about? How can you please the devil and expect God to seal that union.
You know that man is married yet you forced him to marry you, do you still believe it's joined by God? You knew she was married and you influenced her to divorce her husband and you think that union is joined by God. Hmm
No man can put asunder what God has joined but those ones that were joined by men and the devil , it is expendable. We can trample on it . You can always deceive man but don't you for once act smart before God. God bless you.

LOOK BEYOND THE SIN
The other day a lady was brought to Jesus to be condemned for her sins. They all saw a sinner, and Jesus also saw a sinner. Men saw a sinner that needs to be condemned immediately, one who needs to be made to pay for their transgressions immediately with their blood. But Jesus saw a helpless soul, struggling with sin and hoping to be saved. So He said to the woman "go and sin no more". When a sinner meets Jesus, he gains a new ability, that is, the will to overcome sin. Initially, you could not control yourself, you sinned without knowing it but now you can fight the urge, desire, or impulse to sin. It totally becomes a choice.
On the cross, two sinners were crucified with Jesus but only one met him, after which he got the desire to choose life over sin which is paid for with your soul. Until you meet Jesus, you cannot look beyond the person. Many people ask why Christians are judgemental? The right answer to that question is, " True Christians ain't judgemental" the judgemental ones haven't met Jesus yet. They see him as the other sinner on the cross, they have heard of him like the Pharisees, they have been with him like Judas Iscariot yet they haven't met him like Peter, they haven't encountered him like Paul, they haven't experienced him like the woman at the well so they do what they are not supposed to do.
The true believer looks beyond the sin and looks at the person struggling and offers the help he has been allowed to offer. It is the work of every true Christian to do the will of the father, which is to win all to Christ, to sn**ch from the fire and to shine so bright the light of God, it is not our place to pass judgment. Look beyond the sin, the shame, and do your work. God bless you✌

Voices from the cross
This the time of the year where Christians gather together to remember the death and resurrection 9f our Lord and saviour, Jesus. On the cross there were three voices, two were the voices of sinners and one the voice of the saviour. The first was that of the proud sinner, this man knows his sins, knows he is a bandit, an outlaw, he knows the punishment mete out to him was so deserving yet he was adamant. He still wanted to be saved without repenting.
To repent means to be remorseful about our actions and have the desire to want to turn away from it. But the first voice of the cross was crying out to be delivered yet has not purposed in his heart to turn away from the sins that has brought him to judgement. He was not saved but was condemned. If we are pride in our sins, we can never be saved. You can frequent services, pray for forgiveness but if you have not made up your mind to turn away from that sin you will not be saved.
The second voice, the second thief. He was remorseful, he knew his sins, he was aware that the punishment mete to him was deserving but he wanted to be graced. On that cross grace was made manifest that his works were nullified, he made heaven by absolute grace.
The ultimate voice, willingly took up our sins and interceded for us even in pain. The ultimate voice was the voice of salvation, voice of redemption and the voice of deliverance.
Happy Easter folks🤗✌

The Grace to finish well
In my few years in this world I have realised something, starting things is easier than finishing, when we think of starting something all we see are the prospects of fruitfulness, little do we consider the potential if fruitlessness. Because of this when we encounter them along the way, we tend to veer off and abandon the project, such is our walk with God. There are many people out there who are into vain living today but where die hard followers some years back. I have heard stories of great men with promising ministerial future who fell off along the way because of challenges they faced. Ecclesiastes stated it clearly that the race is not for the swift not battle for the string not bread for the intelligent but time and chance happened to us all. In this race of life and Christ followership, we need to learn to take our time in all out dealings, show smart ness in our battles and be wise in our interactions and per adventure we may finish.
Finishing is tough, finishing well is tougher, the night of Jesus' arrest he prayed that the cup be taken from him. That was the finishing cup, the cup that will seal his work in this world, the cup that will affirm all his words. Yet he almost didn't drink from it.
Let him that thinks he stands let him take heed lest he falls. You are here today and you are seeing fallen soldiers as weaklings, you are despising them because you can see the finish line, remember there are those who fall at the finish line.Until you cross don't look down on anyone. Pray for them like you should. They failed to finish because the task overwhelmed them, they failed because they couldn't handle the pressure, they failed because someone said something or reacted in a way towards them.
Pray for yourself, there is this Akan adage that says; "if you see that your friends beard is on fire, fetch a bucket of water and set it under your beard" pray for the grace that was made available for Jesus at the peak of his trials.

The youth are the future of our church, hence they need to be equipped adequately to take on the mantle. For this reason, when planning for services about them, it must be done meticulously.
