First Ever Independent Paper Based Occupational English Test Launched In Ghana
Wisconsin international university college, Ghana (WIUC) has launched the first ever independent paper based Occupational English Test (OET) center in Ghana, at its main campus in Accra.
The event was held on Tuesday October 11, 2022
The OET is an international test that assesses the English language and clinical communication skills of healthcare professionals who seek to register and work in an English-speaking country.
The center which was established through a partnership agreement between the university and the Cambridge Boxhill Language Assessment Institute, and equipped with all facilities according to OET standards will see its first batch of candidates take their test on November 19, 2022.
Speaking at the launch, the president of the WIUC, Professor Obeng-Mireku mentioned that this latest milestone is in line with the university’s mission to develop world class human resources equipped with appropriate knowledge, skills and attitudes to meet national development needs, and global challenges through quality teaching, learning research, knowledge dissemination and collaboration with key stakeholders.

Relationships nowadays have evolved from the way things use to be with our forefathers and how the modern era understands what relationships have changed about us.

Every type of relationship has its positive and negative impact on our emotional health. Almost everyone is looking for tips, solutions and advice on how to maintain, get out, or get into one.

Wisconsin international university college Ghana has
inaugurated its new registrar Mr. Joel Idun-Acquah at
the main campus in Accra recently.
Mr. Joel Idun-Acquah former Deputy Registrar
responsible for academic affairs pledged to support the
President and other management staff to work towards

the effective development of the university college.
He also called for their total cooperation in order to achieve his objective during his tenure.
The new registrar was introduced to the university community by the President, Professor Obeng
Mireku.
He described the new registrar as a man of integrity with a strong sense of morality. He, therefore,
urged both faculty and staff of the university to cooperate with the new registrar in order to make
the university the first choice of study in the country
Mr. Joel Idun-Acquah joined the university in 2005 as an assistant registrar and rose to the ranks
to his current position.
