Another year, another great night at the Véyaon awards thanks to the team at Digital Greenhouse Guernsey!
As well as the usual fun we have creating a video montage of the night we were also tasked this year with creating a video for each of the night's nominees. So that came to 27 videos. 29 if you count this one and the GVC roundup video that played to the room on the night.
We're already thinking ahead to what shenanigans we can get John Fernandez into for next years video intro, I think something involving a parachute may have been mentioned?
Last night the IOD Guernsey Branch held their annual convention and were looking at the role of Social Capital and its role in fostering economic growth in Guernsey. The event was called 'Social Capital: The Key to Economic Growth and Social Wellbeing in Guernsey.'
We were pleased to play our part in the event by setting the scene with a film to make people stop and think and provide the catalyst for the conversations that would come. We have been involved in many IOD events in the past 20 years and always delighted to get involved as they are always thought provoking.

King Charles Jersey Visit Footage - Spike
With the announcement of a visit by King Charles we thought we'd take a look back to the time he visited us in our old office in Jersey (well, he walked past).
We were lucky enough to get footage of him looking relaxed and engaging with the people who turned out to see him.

Wasn't it good to see Maya Le Tissier lifting the FA Cup 🏆 with Manchester United Women at Wembley yesterday. A look back here to when we filmed her visit to Aztech Soccer to try out the tech zone and meet some budding players ⚽️

AI | Friend or Foe? 🤖
The more we explore the world of AI within the creative industry the more it blows our mind. We are of course kept awake at night worrying about the day that AI inevitably takes our jobs and enslaves humanity, but for now we're exploring how we can work with AI enhance to our workflow.
Here's an example, whilst working on a video for The Victor Hugo Centre we took an old photograph of Victor and used an AI programme to subtly animate him and bring him to life. This is just scratching the surface of how we can use AI to breath fresh life into our work.
We're actively exploring the possibilities and are currently enrolled on the generative AI bootcamp provided by Digital Greenhouse Guernsey.

Our second video from the Guernsey Athletics Night of the 5000’s - this time focused on the 5k runners. A fun night of activity and eating pasta, making lots of noise and good honest sweat.
