“სწორედ ამ საუკუნის და საქართველოს წინა საუკუნეების ისტორია იმის დასტურია, რომ დამოუკიდებლობა არასოდეს სამუდამოდ მოცემული არაა და ყოველთვის დასაცავია. დღესაც კარგად ვხედავთ, რომ დიდი ნაწილი ჩვენი საზღვრებისა ჯერ კიდევ არა თუ დაცული, არამედ დადგენილი და აღიარებული არაა, და ტერიტორიული მთლიანობა, რომელიც სახელმწიფოებრიობის ერთ-ერთი ქვაკუთხედია, ჯერ მისაღწევია.

თუმცა ტერიტორიაზე, საზღვრებზე კიდევ უფრო მნიშვნელოვანი შეიძლება ის შინაგანი თავისუფლებაა, რომლის გარეშე თავისუფალი საზოგადოება და მასში მყოფი თავისუფალი პიროვნებები არ ჩნდებიან, მათ გარეშე ვერც თავისუფალი ქვეყანა იარსებებს.

Over one hundred thousand protesters filled Tbilisi's main avenue today, continuing to voice their strong opposition to Russian backed ‘agents law’ initiated by ruling party and to protect their European future.

After yesterday's violent dispersal, police have remained inside the parliament building, but tensions persist as they use water cannons, tear gas, pepper spray and rubber bullets (as reported by demonstrators) to disperse demonstrators from within.

💔 Georgia mourns the victims of landslides this week. Two people died in Adjara’s Khulo and Keda municipalities, and nine more people were killed after a landslide in Nergeeti village in Imereti.
