"home" is out today and it's streaming on all digital platforms.

It's not easy to define the musical genre of this 7 track EP. Mostly acoustic piano with some electronic ambience and squeaky pedal that gets in the way. Some melancholic recitative and hypnotic hip-hop instrumental in the end. The music, written, performed, and produced by sTia herself, resonates with listeners who seek a blend of classical elegance and modern flair.

Most tracks have been released as single for the past year, though in track 4 Natia collaborates with Luna Flowers and Sabana, the founding members of most influential hip-hop collectives in Georgia such as "KayaKata", LTFR and Temple Pharmacy. In track 7 sTia's home is covered by one of the most promising young Georgian hip-hop instrumentalist Nikala. Both tracks released for the first time.

In Natalie's own words:
“Spines” resembles my recollections of driving on the backseat of a car, looking at ever changing landscape flying by:
- mountains and rocks are sliced like butter. I see layers of time, manifesting itself in unfathomable shapes, diagrams, colours, - stacked one on top of the other.
They are ancient life, from dinosaurs to prehistoric plants, mammals, fish, insects, fossils, fungi, microbes; - uninterrupted, engraved in layers of earth and stone. everything that is extinct, seems more alive than the asphalted highway, built right next to it.
as the landscape flows by, the surface of the rocks starts to brake into counts and beats, creating an uneven pattern in perception of the soundtrack they construct, as though inviting me for an intricate, yet effortless dance.
I feel arrhythmia, - peasant one…

Endless source of inspiration:

We are delighted to announce our next release-SPINES by Natalie Beridze.

Natalie has been huge inspiration for CES Records from day one. She has curated number of releases such as “Sleepers Poets Scientists” and “If Strangers”. We have released her collaborative EP with kordz “Celebrity Clouds” and her support single for Ukraine “The Boy Who Wakes the Universe”.

Natalie Beridze, music composer and songwriter, has been performing live worldwide since 2004 and is known as veteran of Georgian electronic music.
She has released her music on record labels such as: Max.E, Monika Enterprise, CMYK, Laboratory Instinct, Chainmusic, CES Records and ROOM40. In addition to her solo projects, she has collaborated with artists such as Thomas Brinkmann, AGF (Antye Greie), Gudrun Gut, Joerg Follert, Marcus Schmickler, Nikakoi, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Gacha Bakradze and more.
Besides her contribution to Georgian electronic music and songwriting, Beridze works on music for acoustic instruments, orchestra and choir. For the past 11 years, she's been teaching songwriting and music production at CES which makes her greatly responsible for inspiring young generation of Georgian songwriters and music producers.
