Always leave room for dessert 🍨
Some from last year, some from this year and prepping for some 2025 special “reveals” but now that word has been overused and doesn’t feel as fun anymore it’s time for a new way of doing things.
So no more reveals as you knew them on this page but here’s to many more private moments ☕️🚌✨

💙❤️🤍 CHAPTER 1 🤍❤️💙
Graham has very kindly given us permission to share the restoration progress of CKH 777C but we aren’t going to share typical restoration posts. You all know this page is more about the lifestyle of the hobby and photos and videos of our favourite vehicles out and about.
We want to really share in depth as much as we can the story of East Yorkshire Motor Services, Park Royal, AEC Renowns and in particular, of course, 777. We would love for those of you in the know to share your story’s and memories in the comments too in the hope that we will all learn more together about EYMS, Park Royal, AEC Renown’s and 777 🖤
Here’s an exclusive sneak peek of all the Sevens under full restoration so far to peak your interest and get this story started ✍️

A DECADE 🖤
We missed celebrating a decade of being in business together in 2024. Being married and being business partners is a whole experience!
Cheers to those who run a business with their husband or wife 🥂and thank you to everyone who has been a supportive part of our journey so far.

A few from our travels and a visit to one of our favourite upholsterers had me swooning over his wall art 😍 Also see the last photo 🖤✨
Apparently we only post once a month now. Hope you are having a productive January.

AUTUMN 🍂
“October is a feast for the eyes and a balm for the soul.”

One of the most beautiful things about the classic bus community is the amount of collections that are looked after by volunteers. People who have so much passion for the vehicles and organisations that mean something to them, so much so they give up their valuable time to be a part of it, work and help. Isn’t that beautiful?
Where do you volunteer?

This morning David tagged us in a post and it has prompted us to say thank you to you. Thank you David 😎
To everyone who follows our page that isn’t specifically into buses at all, thank you, we adore you for being here. You are the real reason we started our page years ago 🖤
To the tiny percentage of you who are from the “bus world” of the 39k, thank you for sharing your passion for the vehicles on this page and supporting us out there in the world too. We see and take note of every single one of you who has continued to support our work and mission 💫

THE REVIVIST: Classic Vehicle Restoration & Fine Coach Painting
Founded by Ashley and Kirstin, The Revivist is a classic vehicle restoration and fine coach painting business based in Yorkshire.
The business specialises in the restoration and traditional coach painting of classic buses and coaches in the main, championing traditional craftsmanship. Assistance can also be given with mechanics & servicing, electrical work, fitting varnish transfers and partial restoration and repair work.
The business is based in Yorkshire but Ashley will travel nationwide working on site at museums and locations with private collections.
With showstopper standards, attention to detail, extensive knowledge, useful contacts, a passion for authenticity preserving heritage vehicles as they should be, a love of fresh chrome and dressed tyres and not forgetting that shiny coach paint finish, you wouldn't want your classic driving on anything other than a red carpet after The Revivist restoration treatment. OK well maybe a red carpet isn’t practical but that is the aim.
A little history...Ashley was fortunate enough to be born into bus and coach preservation movement in the early 70’s. The photo above is of Ash as a child with his fathers bus in the background. Ashleys father was a prominent collector and preservationist of AEC and Leyland half cab buses and coaches in the North of England buying his first classic bus in 1968. Growing up with his time split between living with his mother in Kent and visiting his father in Yorkshire, Ashley spent most of his childhood helping his father along with his brothers maintaining and preserving a fairly large and varied collection of classic buses. Weekends would be spent working on the buses at storage facilities or attending rallies all over the country with the buses, helping run a stall selling memorabilia and photographs, polishing wheel nut guard rings on the AEC’s and enjoying the sounds of whining gearboxes.
At 16 (in the late 1980’s) Ashley bought his first preserved vehicle to restore, a Duple bodied AEC Regal coach and the rest is history. To be continued...
