SO, WHAT'S GOING ON? VANBRUGH VOICES A choir re-generated in 2012 designed for absolutely everyone to get involved. It's kinda like glee mixed with gospel with a splash of a capella and close harmony, infused with regular challenges of music reading (don't panic if you can't read music!) all held together by regular socials and friendly happy faces. A multi-purpose choir. VANBRUGH CHAMBER CHOIR A small student run choir for those who enjoy the beauty of singing in a small group. Designed for happy and confident music readers. VANBRUGH CHAMBER ORCHESTRA Did you play an instrument at school/college? Do you want to continue playing at uni? If you answered YES to either of those questions, this is a group for you. I take anyone at any standard. Expect massive socials, the willow will not know what's hit it. BAND FACILITIES Vanbrugh has recently raised £10,000 + and have created 'The Garage', a designated practise space and recording studio for bands. Any Vanbrugh student can book out the space by visiting the porters or contacting Georgina Heath ([email protected]) The college also owns a multitude of band instruments, drum kits, guitars, bass guitars and have even acquired an accordion.
