Amazing motivation from for awarding Best Synopsis to Four Horsemen of Muckenthwaite!

Out of 547 submissions, we were one of 32 winners across different categories.

So thankful for and for helping me along this amazing journey of getting our beloved film made.

Having only started this journey in January 2024, we've had recognition, compliments, and support for a project that's been sitting in the back end of a hard drive for too long!

When you realise your Soundsphere Session at Young Thugs Studio has been live for ten days... time to make a post!

We played our EP's title track "Dead Bands" and an unreleased song, currently titled "Happy". It was a great experience, and we're thrilled with how it turned out!

Does this mark the long-awaited return of Bedsit? Well... kinda. We have some really great shows to announce, but they're still a couple of months away. In the meantime we're enjoying the creative process of working on our debut album! This self-imposed break from gigging is simply so we can stay hard at work with new material and developing our sound into something we're really excited about.

We'd like to thank Dom Smith at Soundsphere for this opportunity, Nick Russell for the great production job, and Jay from InkBlot Films for the awesome work on the edit.

Inkblot Films and spent some time working in Oxfordshire over the last few days. Jay wasn't sure of the orange thing in the sky. Hes spent most of the year so far editing indoors!

Today was the premiere of KPOW in the Godber Studio at . Jay and the cast were joined on stage for a Q&A session after watching the film, followed by networking.

Big thanks to and Humber and North Yorkshire Cancer Alliance for the funds to make this film. It's been received so well, and there are requests for organisations to show it as part of staff training and at the University for student training...plus others!

We are so glad to see you all at the event today! 😊

Writer , Sound , and .ntalk2021 couldnt make it but they were missed!

We had an eventful trip to London last week, but aside from the drama it was great fun! We managed to network and look into funding for @4horsesfilm at @cinecircleuk Film and TV Job Fair, and Jay got the opportunity to look at new equipment. We might have been told we can't have the £1m R&D camera, but it was interesting looking into new sound and lighting! Anyway, whilst we're unpacking London (literally and figuratively) - go ahead and follow @4horsesfilm. They're on Instagram, Threads and Tik Tok! If you had a serious work conversation with Jay recently but thought he seemed a bit distracted, it may have been you on this call! On Saturday June 1st the long awaited "In The Footsteps of Hank Haydock" will premier at @helmsleyarts. Tickets for the event can be bought from Helmsley Arts Centre website, or by clicking the link in our bio. The showing proudly brings you the short film recalling the experiences of Dennis "Hank" Haydock during WWII. Hank Haydock sadly passed away in 2016 aged 93 years, before the project was finished. Jay filmed actor George Stagnall during lockdown, who powerfully portrays Hank in this verbatim script taken from interviews with him, and excerpts from his personal diaries. The film was produced in collaboration with Nella Fox of Everwitch Theatre, and commissioned by @helmsleyarts and @duncombe.park. #InkblotFilms #WWII #premiere #Helmsley #warveteran

We've only gone and done a thing! Big thanks to Cine Circle for allowing us the opportunity to pitch our script on stage at the legendary Comedy Store in London! After a successful online pitch on Friday we placed in the top 3, which meant a trip down the A1 for Jay, Dan and Gemma to do it all over again in person! We've been so excited and genuinely blown away by the support, love, and enthusiasm weve felt over the last 48 hours. Thanks to everyone that made today as mindblowing as it was.
