Not often I’ll talk about celebrities I love but this one hit hard. Ten years ago today we lost one of the world’s most talented comics. I’ve only ever cried over two celebrity deaths and he was one of them.

His wit, charm, slapstick violence and inimitable writing have inspired me so much. Not a day goes by where I don’t quote him somehow. Best of all, he reminds me of when I was young and would watch with my dad - the man who introduced me to Rik and was also taken too soon.

Sleep well, Rik. You’re still making us laugh and will never stop.

So, the lovely folks at London Marathon have reliably informed me that said marathon is in fact six months from today. 🏃‍♀️

Seems a pertinent time to tell you all I am running for Deafblind UK and would LOVE it if you could donate. If 2,000 of you donate a pound, we're laffin'.

This isn't my first rodeo and I had the pleasure of running for them in 2018. There was also a memorable marketing campaign which involved a lot of public humiliation... 🤦‍♀️
