This week's introduction is for the one, the only, Sam Jones! Here's what he has to say:

This week, we're introducing you to Eleanor Finch! Here is her improv wisdom...
"As someone who rarely knows what I’m going to say before the words are coming out of my mouth, improv seemed like a natural hobby for me to try out when I came to York! I only managed to squeeze in a handful of live shows with The Shambles before we were all sent into lockdown, but somehow that didn’t stop improv from gradually taking over more and more of my life. In the words of my family and friends it has unfortunately “enabled my horrible love of puns” and “removed my filter”. Eh, joke’s on them, I never had a filter in the first place."

Introducing our current Shambles!
Every week, along with the release of each episode of Shambles Marketing, we're going to introduce you to one of the members of our troupe - starting off with our outgoing director, Geo Craig! Here's what they have to say:
"Improv has been a huge part of my life at uni since the very beginning, which was kind of unexpected because when I first started I had no idea what I was doing. Now, I still have no idea what I'm doing, but they let me run the troupe anyway so that's fun! I have a huge amount of love for improvised comedy podcasts such as 'Hello From the Magic Tavern' and 'Capital', so when it just so happened that my year of directing coincided with the Year of No Going Outside Allowed, I thought it'd be a great idea to build upon our previous forays into audio improv and produce something a bit more similar to the podcasts I love listening to. I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as we enjoyed making it!"
