On 20th December the Wrexham Councillors voted for a third time on the Local Development Plan (LDP), based on housing numbers from the Welsh Government, after a court order with the prospect of prison time for Councillors unless they voted in favour of the plan.

The Unskateables are a group of friends from Wrexham who are taking on an extraodinary challege for Nightingale House Hospice. Their mission is to skateboard the length of Wales, Barry to Anglesey, having never skateboarded before. This film launches a week before they set off on their incredible expedition!

A ‘casting call’ has been made for a brand new Youtube channel focused on Wrexham Football Club.

Those behind the call have told Wrexham.com they are looking for football fans and non-fans alike as hosts for a new light-hearted YouTube show focused on the ups, downs and “wows!” relating to Wrexham AFC, its new owners, Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney and life in Wrexham during these trying yet memorable times.

They ask, “Are you a lifelong fan of the club? Or maybe you’ve never been to a match but you’re full of opinions. All are welcome to audition for this fun and exciting new YouTube channel that will offer commentary reacting to breaking news, provide football commentary and opinions on all things Wrexham.”

Those interested must live locally in the wider Wrexham area, and all ages are welcome!�

If you are interested record a short 30-60 second clip introducing yourself and explaining why you think you would be the perfect host – along with your name / contact number – to [email protected]
