Would you like to learn to sing? At Wrexham Sounds, you can join Khrystyna every Monday for singing lessons!

Our singing lessons are suitable for children and adults of all abilities and Khrystyna can help you learn all of the techniques you need to achieve your goals. All musical styles are welcome!

Music for Wellbeing 🎶

Our Music for Wellbeing service accepts referrals from Local Authorities, Charities, Care Providers and Families.

During these sessions, our Music for Wellbeing tutors use music to help children and young people express themselves, gain confidence, explore their musical interests and develop their personal skills.

Music for Wellbeing sessions are tailored to the specific needs of the child or young person taking part. Sessions can involve making your own music, playing along to well know tunes or using music and sound to aid self expression.

Sessions are designed to reduce anxiety, improve mental health and encourage exploration in a fun and flexible way.

Are you over 60 with a passion for music?

If the answer is yes, you can join Return to Music every Monday at the Wrexham Sounds studio in Rhosrobin from 10am - 11am.

You do not need to play an instrument to take part. Everyone is welcome to come along to listen to and chat about music with like minded people.

Refreshments are provided and there is onsite parking. The number 33 bus from Wrexham stops outside the studio.

On Friday we welcomed a group from WCD Young Carers to the studio to take part in a fun filled music workshop! This final session concluded another successful project with Young Carers.

As part of our Sounds and Socials project, 25 Young Carers have been able to access our services at Wrexham Sounds at reduced rates or free of charge.

It has been a pleasure to welcome some new faces and to continue working alongside those who have previously attended sessions with us. We look forward to continuing our partnership with this fantastic organisation.

✨Meet the Team✨

Hi my name is Mia, and I’ll be teaching brass and music theory at Wrexham Sounds.

I have been playing the cornet since I was 8 years old. I play with Llay Welfare Band and competed at the national championships in Cheltenham. I am also the conductor for Llangollen silver band.

I am a fully qualified primary school teacher, after completing my PGCE in 2016.

My main hobby has always been music and I can play a range of instruments.

If brass is something that you’d love to learn, join me on Tuesday evenings at the Wrexham Sounds Studio.

We’ve had a great week at Wrexham Sounds, welcoming so many of you to the studio.

We’re back on Monday with Return to Music. If you’re over 60 and you’d love to join like minded people in listening to and playing music then this session is for you.

Return to Music takes place every Monday at the studio from 10am - 11am. We welcome everyone who enjoys music, you don’t have to play an instrument to come along.

We kindly ask for a small donation from members towards the service.

We would like to say a very big thank you to in Borras for awarding us a community donation of £240. This will enable us to deliver 10 Music for Wellbeing sessions, free of charge, to children from families who may struggle to pay.

If you’re over 60, you can join us for Return to Music from 10am - 11am at the studio in Rhosrobin.

The group is suitable for anyone who enjoys music of any kind and you don’t have to be able to play an instrument to join in. Come along to meet like minded people, listen to and chat about your favourite music.

Music for Wellbeing sessions help children, young people and vulnerable adults facing health, educational and social challenges, develop their confidence, skills and prospects.

Using a range of techniques, our Music for Wellbeing tutors help individuals to express themselves through music.

Last week we celebrated our collaboration with WCD Young Carers by hosting a Christmas party!

A group of 9 Young Carers joined us for music, party games and karaoke last Friday and everyone had a fantastic time.

This week saw the last Enrichment session of the term! The students have worked towards their final group performance and enjoyed a Christmas party in the afternoon. They have all worked extremely hard!
