Hi guys! Been a little while, but hope everyone's doing okay, and had a good Christmas & New Years Eve. 🙂👍

I regret to inform that after 12 years of Calon FM being a place for many artists, reviewers, show hosts and many more people to thrive on air, during these difficult times, sadly the decision was made for the radio station to close. It's been an awesome experience and opportunity that I certainly won't forget 😊

Along with the music suggestions from all of the shows listeners, show ideas and all the work put in with friends and family, I want to thank everyone who has been along for this journey and to let you all know you should be proud of yourselves for all your achievements throughout this year and in general 😊👍

(and I wish the best of luck to all the hosts, writers, artists and guests who have been on the station, and to Amy our manager who has worked tirelessly to help us stay on the air! Goodluck everyone!) 😊👍

Hi guys! Hope you all enjoyed this weeks show; here's an appreciation post for everyone working on, and listening to, the show! :D

I started this show last year at the end of September (when I first started university :) ) talking about videogames and films, playing tunes that resonate and bring joy to myself and many others! (writing the show scripts, recording the voice over, editing and producing the shows) Overtime I got some help from my mum (Lizzi Barron ^_^ ) with research and writing scripts, which was just awesome. Further down the line, around the summer time of this year, I got my best friend to help me write the scripts (Sam Ellis; he loves writing, so this was a good opportunity to get him involved) :)

Now with my best friend Authoring/Writing the scripts, between us co-editing the scripts, and myself then going away to make the show happen, the show has grown over this past year and I am so thankful to everyone who listens and has taken part in this making this wonderful radio show what it is! ^_^ We should all take pride in the things we create for ourselves, and I am so proud of you all. Thank you for allowing me to make the show what it is every time it airs, and am excited to see what the future brings.

Hi guys! Today marks the 75th anniversary since Victory in Europe! 🙂 Many brave people allowed us to be where we are today. Thank you. (p.s. there's alot of very interesting history, from both the world wars and what happened in between! I Really enjoyed doing A level history 😊)

Also, to all of you who listened to my show on Wednesday, I hope you enjoyed it as much as I had fun making it! 😂😄 My show will play every other Tuesday as normal from this week onward. So stay safe, keep trying new things (new hobbies, skills, developing yourselves 😊) and stay tuned! We will get through this.

Just finished chatting with Andy Snowden on CalonFM105 :) I hope I got a few laughs out of the listeners haha But thank you Andy for giving me an opportunity to be go Live, especially on such an amazing occasion to support the NHS in a 24hr charity livestream. :) Donated some money myself! Goodluck to Andy, and I hope everyone at home can listen, and if you can donate to such a worthy cause, it would be very much appreciated! This is such an important time for people to keep in touch, look after each other and give praise to the emergency services, the NHS, everyone still working and all those at home staying safe! We will get through this, and that's what matters. :)
Don't forget my show POP CULTURE on CalonFM105 will be playing as normal next Tuesday , and then every other week on from that! Get ready for the early 2000's! Hope you are all doing okay at the moment. :D

Quick update guys! This Tuesday coming up, Calon FM105 is running a 24hour charity live stream for the NHS and to keep spirits up 😊 so my show may be moved to the week after (but still running!). HOWEVER, I have got in contact with the people running the charity stream, and am trying to get a place on the day to take part/help out! 😄😄 So definitely tune in next Tuesday for the charity live stream, for the good tunes, positive stories, NHS appreciation and... Maybe myself at some point! 😂😄 Will keep you all posted when I know more, so don't forget to like and follow my page! Hi guys, been a little while since the last post on my page. 🙂

I hope everyone is doing okay around this time, with talk of 'Covid-19' around at the moment; just remember to keep your hands clean (with hand sanitisers or even normal hand wash) look after yourselves as best you can, and also take some time out for yourselves wherever people are staying (playing videogames, watching your favourite films/tv shows, listening to your favourite tunes, or picking up a new hobby, like guitar playing 😄😊 keeping up them positive vibes!)
