If you’ve been following our 15th anniversary series, you might recognise the name Life Over Death cropping up again…

And there’s a reason for that. It was a pretty unique project – and one that became a real favourite across the Conteur team.

We actually filmed the documentary, with Tom playing a big part in bringing the project to life. It went on to be screened at Worcester Cathedral to a sell-out crowd – making it a pretty memorable one for everyone involved.

It’s one of those projects that sticks with you – not just because of the story, but because of the people, creativity and conversations behind it.

And yes… we’re talking about it again. 😂

Sometimes the best stories are literally right under your feet...

Hidden beneath the grounds of Worcester Cathedral lies a medieval charnel house containing thousands of human bones – and the inspiration behind Life Over Death.

Given unprecedented access, the Conteur team brought this extraordinary space to screen in a short documentary exploring mortality, our relationship with death and, ultimately, what it means to embrace life.

The film went on to win Best Documentary at Worcester International Film Festival and receive recognition at film festivals further afield. 🎬

We’re continuing our 15th anniversary series, where the Conteur team share some of the projects that have stayed with them over the years.

As part of our 15th anniversary celebrations, we’re looking back at some of the people and clients who have been part of our journey.

Some work just sticks with you. ❤️

Created for , ‘Just Foster’ tells the story of a couple whose decision to foster changed the lives of three children - bringing the impact of fostering to screen in a simple, human way.

The commercial aired through Sky AdSmart and went on to win Gold at The Drum Roses Awards, as well as being shortlisted for an RTS Award. 🏆

As we celebrate 15 years of Conteur, it feels like a good excuse to give this one another watch. 🎬

15 years of stories, told better 🎉

As Conteur celebrates its 15th anniversary, we’re looking back at some of the projects, campaigns and stories that have shaped our journey.

One that stands out is our work with Foster Care Associates (FCA), helping to raise awareness of foster care and encourage more people to consider becoming foster parents.

With the campaign tagline 'Just Foster', we developed a television commercial telling the story of a couple whose decision to foster had changed the lives of three children.

Created for AdSmart from Sky, the targeted campaign gave FCA the opportunity to reach potential foster carers in a different way – while the finished film went on to be shared across FCA’s social channels, website and YouTube.

And there was an extra reason to celebrate… 🏆

The commercial won Gold at The Drum Roses Awards.
