It's Bring Your Dog to Work Day! 🐶

We're very lucky to have not one but TWO office dogs at Glendale PR 🐶🐶

Our office friends are Hattie the Cocker Spaniel and Polly the Cockapoo. They nap in the office, run around in the beautiful garden, always have a cheery disposition, and regularly cause havoc (we're looking at you Polly 👀)

So exciting to be a part of the fantastic NSA North Sheep event again! 🐑

Returning to Northumberland for the first time time in 15 years, North Sheep 2023 is not only a tremendous show of livestock, but is also an important platform for those attending to discuss and debate the future of a sustainable sheep industry.

Happening tomorrow at Bradford House Farm, Belsay, Ponteland. Tickets are £15 on the gate, which will be opened at 9am.

The Coronation of Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla is taking place toady at Westminster Abbey, London. 👑

This official emblem has been created with the flora of the four nations of the United Kingdom: the rose for England, the thistle for Scotland, the daffodil for Wales and the shamrock for Northern Ireland.

The Times has announced Wooler as one of best places to live in Northern England!

The new Ad Gefrin visitor experience and distillery has massively contributed to this.

Having been brought up in Wooler, I am so thrilled that it is finally getting the recognition it deserves, and extra happy that my work with Ad Gefrin has played a part in putting Wooler on the map!

What a day!

Today Gefrin opened it's doors for the first time.

It has been so exciting to be a part of this story over the years, and to have watched this building rise up to become the amazing museum and whisky distillery it is today!

I can't wait to see it flourish as a major tourist attraction!

A great initiative, offering young farmers the chance to showcase their life in farming, with the aim of educating where milk really come from.

We were so pleased to be a part of the Children's Countryside Day last week, run by the Glendale Show - Glendale Agricultural Society.

The day returned after a two year hiatus (thanks to Covid), and it was great to see so many local businesses and volunteers returning despite the break.

For us it's great to be able to spread the word about these great days, and we are pleased to see papers such as the Gazette and the Chronicle covering the day and using our photos!

Another fantastic event I was lucky enough to be a part of today...

Being a Wooler local myself, it was so exciting to see the High Street lined with people celebrating the arrival of Ad Gefrin's new whisky stills!

The Ad Gefrin Visitor Experience and Distillery is really putting Wooler on the map, and today was a thrilling milestone for them - I can't wait for a dram of Northumberland's first whisky now! 🥃

I was so lucky to have won the NFU Mutual complementary ticket to attend the Guild of Agricultural Journalists' Harvest Service at St Bride's Church, followed by lunch at Pewterers' Hall last October.

The GAJ Harvest Service and Lunch takes place each autumn in London. The church service at St Bride’s, Fleet Street, is followed by a drinks reception and three-course lunch nearby.
