As we start this new month, let's be thankful for every breath we take. Appreciate the small things in life.

With so much happening around us, we often forget how special it is to wake up healthy, say hello to our loved ones, and just breathe.

I don't like going to hospitals, but every visit makes me realize how lucky I am to be alive and healthy.

So, when you feel stressed, remember how lucky you are to be breathing and alive.

Starting with low-fidelity designs, even with just pen and paper, has so many benefits. You can quickly tweak your design direction without getting too emotionally attached.

It also allows you to gather feedback from all stakeholders swiftly before moving on to the next stage. This approach makes the whole process smoother and more collaborative.

Once you realize UX/UI is more about communication than pushing pixels, you'll stop worrying about Figma updates. 🌟

One of the most debated topics in design communities is which Figma update is the best. But the truth is, no matter how beautiful your designs look on Figma, if they can't be translated into the real product, everything is useless. How do you achieve this?

☑️Communication is key. Many think communication just means presentations, but being open to feedback is just as important. Sadly, many designers struggle with constructive feedback, creating walls between design and engineering. This results in beautiful Figma designs that don’t translate well when coded.

Next time you think about communication, ask yourself: do you make yourself available to be talked to?

Here are some tips:

➡️Regularly check with your engineering team about your designs.
2️⃣Have post-work conversations to see how you can improve your designs.
3️⃣Take feedback constructively and view it from the user's perspective.
4️⃣Ensure all stakeholders, including your engineering team, understand your work.

Another year older. Hurray🥳🥳🥳.

This weekend, I celebrated another year of life and, coincidentally, finished one of my favorite reads this year: "Top 5 Regrets of the Dying." I enjoyed this book so much that I didn't want it to end.

The biggest lesson I took from it is captured in this image:
"Be who you are, find balance, speak honestly, value those you love, and allow yourself to be happy."

Life is an interesting journey. There is no final destination—just appreciate wherever you are, and when it's time to move on, don't hold back. One day, you'll look back and see the full picture.

If you're looking for a book that offers profound insights on life, I highly recommend this one.

Wear it green day!!!

A key adjustment I've made that has positively impacted my mental health is establishing a morning and sleep routine. My morning routine includes yoga, positive declarations, and reading. My sleep routine involves turning my phone off by 10 pm, expressing gratitude for the day, and telling my family I love them.

After about three months of this practice, I realized how not looking at my phone as the first and last thing each day massively improves mental health.

Mental health starts with making better choices. This choice has been a game-changer for me; maybe it can be for you too! ⭐️

Just finished "Stillness is Key" by Ryan Holiday, and it's safe to say it's left me utterly spellbound.
📚💫 Here are the 10 invaluable lessons I gleaned from this masterpiece:

1️⃣👉🏿Become Present: Trust no future, however pleasant. Let the dead past bury its dead. In the stillness of the present lies true peace. 🕊️

2️⃣👉🏿Limit your Inputs: A wealth of information creates a poverty of attention. Focus on what matters and give it the undivided attention it deserves. 🧘‍♂️

3️⃣👉🏿Take a Pause and Think Deeply: With my sighted eye, I see what's before me, and with my unsighted eye, I see what is hidden. Profound truths often reveal themselves in moments of quiet reflection. 🤔

4️⃣👉🏿Cultivate Silence: All profound things and emotions of things are preceded and attended by silence. In silence, we find the fertile ground for understanding and growth. 🌱

5️⃣👉🏿Let Go: Work not for the world but never cease to work. Release the need for external validation and focus on the intrinsic value of your endeavors. 🌟

6️⃣👉🏿Heal the Inner Child: Nurture the tender parts of your soul that long for healing and understanding. Embrace compassion and forgiveness towards yourself. 💖

7️⃣👉🏿Accept a Higher Power: Mediocrity knows nothing higher than itself. Surrender to a power greater than your ego and find liberation in humility. 🙏
