Relatives or friends of a woman who passed away recently are being asked to get in touch with the City of Wolverhampton Council so that her funeral can be arranged.

Joane Margaret Moore, who was 74, had been living in the Pendeford area. Anyone who is related to Miss Moore, or has any information which may help trace her relatives, is asked to call the Court of Protection Team's Protection and Funerals Officer Diane Washbrook on 07967 769826 or email [email protected].

The council makes appeals of this nature as it believes that families and acquaintances of the deceased should be notified and be given the opportunity to get involved with the funeral arrangements, should they wish to.

There’s speculation that Wolves may appoint the much-travelled Portuguese manager Vitor Pereira after dismissing Gary O’Neil.

56 year old Pereira has managed a dozen clubs in seven different countries, but has never worked in England.

He’s currently employed in Saudi Arabia and has previously been linked with vacancies at Everton.

Wolves sacked O’Neil barely 48 hours after publicly backing him, and only four months after awarding him a four year contract.

The club’s relegation fears increased with Saturday’s damaging 2-1 defeat at home to Ipswich, and there could be further disciplinary consequences following incidents after the game with Rayan Ait Nouri sent off in the tunnel and Mattheus Cunha risking a lengthy ban after an altercation in which an Ipswich official lost his glasses.

Wolves are now five points adrift of Premier League safety as the season fast approaches the halfway mark.

Wolverhampton therapist Lucy Smith has lived several lives in one - and you’ll hear her amazing adventures during this Tuesday’s Inside Tracks at 6pm.

She’s lived in Italy, Spain and Honduras; travelled the world working on cruise ships; been a teacher, a sales rep, a charity volunteer and has just opened her own therapy business in Blossoms Fold. Wolverhampton has always pulled her back.

Lucy’s immensely proud of her three daughters, still spends many of her evenings at local gigs and her colourful experiences reflect a love of life itself.

Her music choices are as wide as her life journey - from Michael Kiwanuka to George Michael, and from Martin Gauffin to Tame Impala. It’ll take you from the rock-strewn streets of Honduras to the millionaires’ yachts in Puerto Banus.

You can meet Lucy by joining her and Tim Beech during Inside Tracks at 6pm this Tuesday on 101.8 WCR FM. The show’s also available locally on DAB or anywhere in the world online at www.wcrfm.com, where it can also be listened to for a fortnight on our Catch Up service.
