Just recently, we’ve been quoting jobs for people and they are coming back to me saying that we are expensive.
Here is an example of the quality of work you get when you go for the cheaper alternative.
A indoor splitter just left lying on the roof exposed to all weathers the system didn’t work at all.
A new aerial had been fitted onto an existing pole which had been there for at least 30 years !!!

Like the old adage says….. PAY CHEAP, PAY TWICE

Quite a tricky job this morning for Good Friday 🐣
Fitting a chimney cowl, most people know us for doing Aerials & satellites and fitting bird spikes/defenders.
The customer had birds, trying to build a nest in his chimney (see photographs below )
Birds can cause carnage when they get into your room leaving destructive mess everywhere.

We have all the required climbing equipment and 1.5 million pounds worth of liability insurance.

Six months ago, I was called out to a customer in pattingham who thought she needed a new aerial. I tested it with my Tv meter/ analyser.
The signal was satisfactory and I told the lady she didn’t need a new aerial.
I told her it was a problem with the Panasonic TV which was brand-new. I’d come across this problem a couple of times.
Understandably, she was sceptical as it was a trusted, brand and brand-new. And she asked me to fit a new aerial.
I said I couldn’t because there wasn’t anything wrong with a existing aerial apart from it was of an age.
Below is the reply from the customer today.

Hi Paul this is Mrs Price re Panasonic TV. Just to let you know Panasonic sent an update on a memory stick to Ian at Davies's that sold me tv and he came last week and installed it on my tv. So far 10 days on I have had no issues. Keeping fingers crossed 🤞 this continues.

It’s that time of the year, when the birds have started nesting again & roosting on your aerials.

Please note the spikes don’t hurt the birds at all they just deter them from roosting on the aerial...... Leaving there bird mess on your expensive car / newly laid drive etc.

Clean license, no points, no accidents, over 16 years no claims bonus 🤷‍♂️

We fitted another “Starlink”
Internet system today.

Now they have 173.04 ⭐️
I fitted it on a extended pole because of an obstruction. They don’t always have to be fitted so high.
