Our little boy is behind in his speech for a 3year old but he loves this book so much he can read it in his own little way

How’s everyone’s weekend going? We’ve had a great afternoon out…

We went to see the Wolves Women football team play and they won- 5-0 girl power 💥💥💥

Great result and first time in the stadium for the boys including the big one! He hates football 🤣

Hi 👋 I’m Jo and this is my bookshop- Buzzy books for reading bugs in partnership with Usborne.

⭐️I’m looking for book buddies⭐️

📚The start…

A little over 12 months ago I joined Usborne on a whim and the bargain starter pack price…. Fast forward 15 months and I’ve achieved so much!!

📚The other me….

Oh did I mention I work 30 hours a week, have a busy home life with my husband and 3 children 11,6,3 years not forgetting a crazy dog and cat!

I was keen to do something for ‘ me’ having spent most of my maternity in lockdown through Covid I felt isolated and somewhat disconnected from the world. I also wanted to really help my children get on in the world with as much support and help as possible…

📚What have I done with my bookshop?

We’ll it’s given me the confidence to try out new things and meet fabulous new people-
I’ve done Table top stalls/ pop up tables in the local community, sponsored book hunts in half term for local children to seek and enjoy, community book pledge over Christmas to help stock up Christmas presents to those less fortunate - oh and did I mention school fairs raising thousands of £’s to help provide their school with over £600 of FREE books….
I’ve built up a great customer base and love helping them find the perfect book for the perfect present…

📚The feel good factor-

Talk about feeling confident, accomplished and proud! This Usborning hits the spot 😀 I’ve got lots planned for this year too- An Easter look for a book event, community book pledge raising funds for a new library in the local children’s ward… book fairs.

⭐️As a family we have been able to kerb the cost of living crisis somewhat and have used my commission for all sorts of family days out, short breaks and of course the Santa visit at Christmas!!

Life is busy yes, but Usborne IS so FLEXIBLE it can work how you want it too…

❓Are you or Do you know a local business that would like to sponsor some books for a look for a book hunt over Easter in the tettenhall area❓

Buzzy books for reading bugs in partnership with Usborne Publishing Buzzy books for reading bugs are planning to do a look for a book hunt…

📚What is it?
A look for a book hunt helps local children get out and explore over the Easter period and hopefully find a book at the end of it.

📚The idea
The idea is that I will post on social media the clues of where the books are hidden- local landmarks parks etc… The children they then run off to find them read the book and then re hide for someone else to enjoy.

📚The cost
It will cost £1 a book - 100% of sponsorship will go straight to providing books I’ll be setting up a fb page for the event and posting the clues on there.

📚who are the books aimed at?
The books range from pre readers to confident readers so something suitable for all primary age children.

📚What’s in it for the business?
For your generosity I would ensure the books you sponsor have a book plate inside advertising it as sponsored by your business as well as social media posts along the way.

If it is something you would like to get involved in then please message me.

I totally understand if it’s not feasible at the moment as times are tough but even just £10 sponsorship would bring at least 10 smiles of joy to children reading for fun!

I really do believe in this hunt as a perfect way to bring the local community together and help those children who’s Easter may not be as egg-citing or fun filled as others.

📚🐝❤️Samuel and I read this story last night Table manners for tigers- we loved the rhyming which helped with his reading.

📚We also listened to the “audio” reading of this book- I didn’t realise they had QR codes to take you directly to audio!

📚Every day is a school day! And makes this book even more appealing to younger readers with the versatility of it!
