We've just learned the terrible news of the untimely passing of Mike Gethin, lead vocals and frontman for the 2 Tone All Skas. Mike was the living embodiment of ska and two-tone - he was noisy, loud, brash, funny and silly, with an unquenchable zest for life, and we will all miss him desperately. Keep skanking bud 😢

I don’t know if any of you had something to do with this 🤗 but I’ve been nominated for The AMA’s Live Act of the Year Award and there is a public vote open for it. I’m very old school when it comes to gigging and I’ve always believed you need to put the ground work in. Play everywhere - the streets, pubs, clubs, midnight slots, morning slots, everything. Learn your craft, and learn how to be the best version of yourself while doing it. To see that this hard work is being acknowledged is a gift in itself and such a beautiful surprise. I know a lot of my friends who are on the scene doing exactly the same thing and they are freaking awesome. I don’t know how I got on this list and I feel like the underdog being amongst such highly established acts but I may as well give myself a chance and ask for your vote!
