🟩 The southwest of England is the number ONE place to visit in 2025 🏆 The New York Times have announced their list of ‘52 places to visit to go to this year’ and Jane Austens England is in the top spot to co-incide with 250th anniversary of her birth we were thrilled to see this week. 📚 🎥 We’ve had the pleasure over the years to work on many local film and photography tourism projects in Hampshire with RCM and many have had a strong tie in with the celebrated novelist, Jane Austen. These include Visit Hampshire VisitBritain Visit Winchester Visit Southampton Tourism South East amongst others and the likes of Winchester, Southampton, Chawton, Steventon all get a mention in the article which is great. 🟩 Bringing subjects to life with animation at RCM 🎨 We’ve had quite a few enquiries this week for animation / infographic projects so thought I’d drop in with our animation showreel with some examples... Animation can bring a subject to life and tell a story in both a visually engaging manner and clear and concise manner, we utilise it in both standalone videos and in live action videos for our clients too. We’ve worked on everything from a simple logo animation for a well known drinks brand to large series of animations to bring subjects like peanut allergies, University course material to sleep patterns and reproductive health. 🟩 The magic of a summers day in lymington on film ⛵🎥 When a new website is created by a business or organisation, it quite often needs amazing new video content and images to go on it. Earlier this year RCM worked on this film for @lymingtonharbourcommissioners in Hampshire to showcase the beauty of the destination. From the cobbled streets with their colourful independents to the vibrant waterfront and quayside...although we actually aced the weather with a late spring day to bring forward summer!   The approach for the film was to showcase their Lymington base as one of the foremost destinations for yachters location in all its glory. Rather than just on the facilities/services which are better represented through specific web pages and details in the copy.   Our film crew shot over the course of a day with a packed schedule from on the water capturing sailing yachts and power boats both out at the opening of the waterway and around the marina as well as on land in locations including the town centre and bustling market, quayside, pontoons, pub and the sea wall.   Deliverables included:   1 X hero film in landscape 1 x hero vertical film 8 x vertical social clips A selection of professional stills in landscape and portrait   Thank you to Dom for bringing us in #rcmagency #lymington #hampshire #videoproduction

🟩 Exploring Newbury in West Berkshire on a location photo shoot with @heartwoodcollection 📸 Join us behind the scenes on a recent day capturing lifestyle shots with an RCM crew around the area for an upcoming launch of ‘The Coat and Bear’ by @heartwoodinns aptly named due to the market towns connection to Paddington 🐻 The shots will be used to promote the local area and things for visitors to do near the Inn which also has rooms. 🟩 Capturing colourful content at @bbcgwfair Fair Autumn🌻 Come with us behind the scenes as Amy takes us through our latest bts vid! Over the weekend we headed up to Audley End, a stunning English Heritage property with large grounds and gardens to lead a film crew capturing content for BBC Gardeners’​ World Events Autumn Fair. Our third year in a row. 🎥Filming a range of content from piece to camera items with the talent like Adam Frost and Joe Swift, voxpops with visitors, exhibitors, workshop leads, sponsors and of course all the general b roll highlighting the fun atmosphere of the show. 🟩 Keeping pace at the palmer sport racetrack 🏎️🛞 As part of the @carswellgould collective RCM recently had the pleasure of shooting at an amazing UK racetrack and produce a collection of films for Comma. The films featured the mechanics and staff as well as the impressive fleet which highlighted the partnership with palmersport. Their impressive fleet includes the BMW M4 Competition, Ginetta G56 sports car, an exclusive version of the Caterham Seven, F3000 single-seaters and JP-LM sports prototypes so plenty to shoot.   Certainly made for some epic drone shots both around the racetrack and the drone keeping pace with ED GOULD as he played the part of a racecar driver to a tee and our drone also captured weaving interior shots inside the warehouse to show the scale of the location and facilities and cars on show.
