12 Dave’s of Christmas - Tip 2 This tip applies mainly to low pitched sounds e.g kick drums, bass guitar. Use a good quality EQ and do a bell curve boost at around 50-65Hz. Try it out initially with 6dB and tweak from there.

Throughout December we will be sharing studio tips from producer David… the 12 Dave’s of Christmas if you will! To try this tip for yourself, simply take any EQ; start by moving your high pass filter to around 300hz, then moving your low pass filter to around 2khz - Listen to the drastic effect it has on the character of your sound. Filtering like this is typically useful for squeezing background sounds into a busy mix.

Our client Taylor Swift Tribute by Katy Ellis opening the inaugural Hayloft LIVE We quite literally finished this new click track yesterday to be ready for this show! 😅 Great to be finally able to watch a production we have done so much work for!

We were tasked with re-creating a live version of “Focus” for Ariana Grande tribute @harianaliveofficial Taken from the AMA’s, this involved a whole range of instruments including brass, multiple synths, effects & percussion - all recorded live, or sequenced professionally with the highest quality samples. Thanks Hannah for the clip!

We offer scores in all styles catering for many projects from commercial advertisements through to TV programs and motion picture films. We also provide a bespoke Choreography service and stunning Professional Dancers for one off events and performances and longer term tours. Our Showgirls, Meet & Greet and Walkabout acts are also available for themed events and festivals.

The musical composition service we offer can take a brief and apply an emotional under current or a subtle reinforcement to it using music, sound fx, dialogue,vocals etc. This can turn a movie or advertisement into a hook that draws in your target market and makes them connect more fully with your media.
