The latest Soul Roots Radio Radio High Life show is now up on my Mixcloud.

Its 2 hours of International good-grooves, featuring a conversation with the delightful Artur, the Lion Cub,Michalski Lion Mathieu the driving creative force behind the excellent Balearic Breakfast blog site https://www.balearicbreakfast.com .

Artur talks about what bought it about, the link back to the legendary David Mancuso and the important role it plays in supporting and connecting the ‘family’ around Colleen 'Cosmo' Murphy ‘s outstanding radio show - a truly 21st Century manifestation of ‘community radio ‘.

There are also some of the familiar features; an Afro & Latin Funk ‘7 Inches of Heaven’, a Brazilian charity shop vinyl ‘covered with love’, some georgeous spiritual Latin Jazz and much, much more.

I’ve taken a deep dive into Bandcamp, so it’s packed with new (to me) muisc. There’s Latin, Soul, Funky Jazz and more; tunes from Ghana, Guyana,Surinam, Spain, Italy and the Uk

It’s going to be repeated on Friday at 5 in the Feet To the Floor slot, as best to Georgie Brendon and I are away, and also earlier in the day on Friday, on South Devon Sound at 2pm

Exciting news, hot off the press- FTTF is back in the Bubble. For one night only, Sat 15th Oct. it's Feet To The Floor For Refugees

The lovely folks at Whitstable - Calais Solidarity Group have invited me to DJ at a fundraiser; 7.30pm-11pm at the Umbrella Centre Whitstable Umbrella Community Centre Oxford St Whitstable. £10 entry - with funds raised going to support refugee.

I will be spinning the usual selection of dance-floor grooves; you can expect some FTTF classics, as well as some new discoveries in my box.
