Buying second hand, pre-loved or thrifted can be a gamble before these outfits came a lot of items that I’ve sold on or donated.
No, you can’t return an item just because you don’t love it as much as the pictures or it didn’t quite fit.
To get it right before you get it wrong here’s a few tips for buying pre-loved:
• Always ask for measurements + compare with a similar item already in your wardrobe
• ask for their height and if possible to see a picture of them wearing it
• Do a reverse google image search to find that item styled IRL - I do this all the time to see items on different body shapes + sizes
•Finally know that clothes should fit you you shouldn’t have to fit the clothes

Attention Side Hustlers! Important Tax Update 📆💼 HMRC's New Year game-changer for online earners making over £1k.

The threshold for earnings from online side hustles is set at more than £1,000 a year – above this, online sellers must register as self-employed and file a self-assessment tax return at the end of the financial year.

What does it mean for you?
* For those already declaring earnings, little will change.
* Anyone earning over the £1,000 trading allowance is expected to fill out a tax return, even if none is due. Those who don't may get a nudge from HMRC.
* Individuals also have a £1,000 tax-free allowance for money made through property.
* eBay sellers will need to supply their national insurance number.
* Airbnb says it has already been sharing earnings information from hosts with HMRC for a number of years and it has tax information on its site.

Let’s raise a glass or or cuppa to Menopause Awareness Day - in classic brain fog style I’m a day late posting.
I spent the evening with an empowering group of women talking around our different experiences of navigating the menopause, from HRT to natural remedies there’s a conversation for every moment & that is what is so important keeping the chat going & don’t forget the biccies.
Thanks to Victoria who created this workshop to help us put words to our feelings on paper with her unique self designed fonts and talk openly & honestly with each other.
Here’s to many more conversations around a topic that will affect over 50% of the population from your mum to your daughter whether you symptom or not your body will change.

The greenhouse effect is like a glass greenhouse, letting in sunlight but trapping heat, making the Earth warmer. Humans are adding too many greenhouse gases, like carbon dioxide, making it even hotter. A 1 degree rise in temperature has serious consequences, from rising sea levels to more extreme weather.

This is my time to say goodbye it’s been an absolute rollercoaster of 17 years but it is time to shut the doors on Good and ProperZero in the town centre. You may think this is a sad moment for me, I’m incredibly excited for the next chapter to come.

I decided I neeed to create some impactful branding so called upon the loveliest woman Shruti of . She listened to my crazy design ideas and after a few iterations here is the final packaging design.
I am just loving every inch of it, full of endangered animals wildlife and our oceans this scene depicts what we are losing far too quickly.

Just look at those strawberries big fat juicy & local.

We’re very fortunate to live just down the road from cheddar where some of the best strawberries in the UK are grown.

Frustrating when they don’t even stay good for a day tho isn’t it?
But did you know you can keep them fresher for longer by storing them in an airtight container?
I give them a rinse pat them dry then put them in a jam jar, these are nearly 5 days old & still looking sweeet!

Hands up who’s got a kitchen cupboard filler with mud-matching plastic pots & lids, yup that’s me to.
Here to save the day are these bowl covers, just about the most useful thing I have in my kitchen.

Bowl covers..yes I know hardly glamorous but the items we reach for time & again aren’t often the most pretty (although these are kind of cute!)

I learnt a really good lesson this week and it’s actually a really hard lesson for me to learn and that’s one of asking for help.

Now this is a lesson that I have to learn over and over again it’s not something that comes easily for me but when I reach out and I ask for help, only ever does it bring such rewards such love and such joy that I wonder why I don’t do this more often.
✨
Ask for help, it’s a sign of strength it’s not a sign of weakness.
✨
