Need a mid-week reset? Take a moment to breathe… 😌

A simple technique I often teach is to lengthen your exhale. Make your out-breath a little longer than your in-breath.

This is a quick and easy way to help down-regulate your nervous system, bringing you into a state where you feel calmer and clearer.

And you can do this anytime, anywhere, since your breath is right under your nose 24/7!

For example, breathe in for 4 and out for 6… You can change the numbers to whatever you find comfortable.

Just the act of brining awareness to your breath and consciously slowing it down has so much benefit.

McDonald's.... 7 reasons I go regularly!

Now then, I know some people really don't like McDonald's for various reasons, however, I'm a positive person and have the following information to share:

1. A cup of tea is only 99p; the teabag is PG Tips / Rainforest Alliance Certified
2. It's regularly cleaned with (on the whole) friendly staff. NB avoid in half term and school holidays due to noise level and volume of customers!
3. Their downloadable APP gives special offers - I had a Quarter Pounder with Cheese for lunch today which cost me £1.49.
4. Points are given for every single purchase which can be used for specified menu items.
5. Their Wi-Fi is acceptable for remote working.
6. The height of the tables is perfect for working on a laptop.
7. My unemployed clients are more likely to accept a cheaper drink and feel more comfortable in this environment than a library where their conversations can be overhead or a cafe where a coffee and sandwich could buy them a few days worth of meals!

I've changed my business page as I'm so much more than Utility Warehouse. I'm full of helpful money-saving hints and tips and a master of sharing and promoting other businesses!

We created TRW Enterprises when we built our garden room using the money we inherited from Barry's Mum. His father had served in The Royal Warwickshire Regiment, hence our garden pub being named "THE ROYAL WARWICK". It was only afterwards that we realised our son's initials are TRW so it was one of those "meant to be" moments!

An O2 scam targeting customers in the United Kingdom is offering ridiculous discounts and phone plans in return for your one-time security codes.

At a time when the cost of living is rising in the United Kingdom, many of us are worried about the looming energy price cap disaster, and finances are often stretched thin -- the prospect of being the lucky customer eligible for a discount of 35% to 40% on your phone plan is an attractive one. At least, that's what the callers on the end of the phone try to sell you.

The caller sounds delighted in informing you that you can take advantage of a substantial discount on your plan.

Even before they finish their pitch, you receive a text message which is legitimate 02 communication -- a one-time code that customers can use to access their accounts if they forget their password, for example.

This is how the scam works:

The cold caller asks if you want to take advantage of the discount.

At the same time, the scammer visits the 02 sign in page, types in your phone number, and asks for a one-time code to access your account In order to apply the discount, they -only- need the code they have just sent to your handset If you hand over the code, they can then access your details.

Reports suggest the team has also impersonated Carphone Warehouse and Three, and are offering discounts, new phone contracts, and a 100% discount on phone charges. Worth keeping an eye out for -- and as always, you should never hand over these details. If in doubt, cut the call and ring your service provider directly.

Remember, if someone calls you claiming to be from O2, they would never ask for one-time passcodes, passwords and PINs, or personal information like your bank details. So, make sure you check who they are by asking where they're calling from. If you have any doubts, just give them a call to check.
