Experienced Drummer and Guitarist based in the North East (Washington/Peterlee) are looking for a reliable solid bassist to complete a power trio line up. This is a side project to our current band (The Tonic).
We'll be knocking out some classic tunes from the likes of:
The Skids
The Jam
The Undertones
Tenpole Tudor
Slade
Martha and the Muffins
The Primitives
The Clash
As well as edging into some early modern foot stompers from:
Feeder
U2
Jet
The Fratellis
And a few more of that ilk!
If it sounds like a gig that's up your cul de sac, giz a shout!! Decent gear and own transport is a must though! Backing vocals would be great but not essential.

For those of you who didn't know, we sell coffee and tea at overall studios.

Our coffee is bought from Pumphreys Coffee Showroom so you know it's going to be an amazing brew.

Not only coffee.. we also sell tea and once again this is supplied by Pumphreys.

If your wanting a cup just let us know at reception and we will be happy to help.

For the remainder of February our coffee will be at the low price of just £1 per cup. Tea is 70p

Here's our Green room.

It may have been a couple of weeks ago now that the room was changed around a bit, mostly good vibes from the customers using the space since the move.

I know some of you prefer the gig style set up and some of you prefer the more laid back vibe. For now the room layout is shown in the pics.

The drum kit has had a little bit of a makeover and we have added a couple of toms to make this Pearl kit into a bit of a monster. Now with 5 toms available.

The red room has been flipped around. The drum kit is now down by the door instead of at the top of the room.

The room now feels like there's more space in there. It's also sporting the newly repaired natal snare drum that's been out of commission for a while. Toms have also been skinned.

Next step is to give the green room a fresh lick of paint.

Happy new year to all customers old and new.

A little update on things going on down the studio.

+ For those who don't know, Overall Studios has a recording studio on site if your looking to capture your next project (call the studio for more info)

+ Our coffee is awesome and for just £1 it's an absolute bargain (we sell tea for 70p as well)

+ I'm looking at doing a monthly music meeting. A gathering during the week where people can pop into the studio and just chill out and chat with other musicians for a couple hours.

+ Lots of other things in the pipeline to watch out for.

New Alternative/Rock/Shoegaze band are looking for a talented and versatile Bassist aged 25-45 to join the band. Ideally someone who has gig/recording experience. We rehearse currently in Washington.

Some of our collective influences are - Deftones, Sleeptoken, Placebo, Radiohead, Incubus, Nothing, My Vitriol, A Perfect Circle to name a few.

The band are looking to gig and record when possible so flexibility would be ideal.

Own gear and own transport is needed.
