Vivian Blum nimmt sich in ihrer künstlerischen Arbeit selbst zum Thema. Ihre physische Befindlichkeit und psychische Erscheinung dienen als Inspiration der Malerei die wie ein Selbstbildnis im Zerrspiegel wirkt. In Form eines Tagebuchs erforscht sie mit malerischen Mitteln ihre eigene Befindlichkeit in Wechselwirkung mit ihrer Außenwelt. Mit Hilfe von Farbmaterial, Pinsel und Händen lässt sie ihren Gefühlen auf der Leinwand freien Lauf und zeigt die Vielfältigkeit und Vielschichtigkeit einer Persönlichkeit – vielleicht auch als Spiegel für die Betrachtenden.

Zu sehen sind die Werke vom 16. Oktober 2024 bis 28. Januar 2025 im Kulturhaus zu den Öffnungszeiten montags-freitags 9-16 Uhr.

Could be a good evening

Just having a little practice at figures using ink and watercolour. I always get a bit spooked when adding them into a picture! Used khadi paper here too. It’s very rough with a deckled edge
