Our TH3 VIP Demo Days have come to a close, concluding three incredible weeks of showcasing the Green-Tec TH3 Tree Handler to customers from across the UK.

For over 10 years, Blue Machinery (Scotland) have partnered with Cireco Scotland to help transform their waste processing. The latest project consisted of an all purpose materials recycling facility, targeting skip waste and commercial & industrial waste.
The plantโs process begins with the core shredding of infeed material, which is then sized before undergoing mechanical separation using air. Ferrous and non-ferrous materials are extracted, before manual picking lines remove easily identifiable oversized items, such as large wood and large rubble. The remaining residual waste, which constitutes only a small percentage of the processed material, is sent to waste-to-energy.
Earlier this year, the addition of TOMRA optical sorters significantly enhanced the plant's capabilities, enabling Cireco to increase throughput and meet ambitious recycling targets. With this advanced technology, the facility now processes between 30 and 50 tonnes of material per hour.
With the Scottish landfill ban looming, waste-to-energy has become the sole outlet for residual waste. The installation of this new plant allows Cireco to recycle a substantial portion of their incoming waste, dramatically reducing landfill contributions and aligning with Scotlandโs sustainability goals.
